The Sony brand of battery is $189 for ONE. To get a pair of batteries as I did here is 1/3 the price of the handycam. These batteries were shipped quickly, packaged well, and they fit the camera. Again, for the price I paid here under $50, I received two batteries and a charger. Sony charges $189 for one battery.

The charger works great... Both the batterries have come apart after only one use as they were very cheaply put together and I'm not gonna ruin my great sony camera because of cheap batterries. Buy the real ones.
