Pros:The adjustable levels of brightness give my daughter total control of her lighting, allowing her to work in comfort.Three colour temperatures allow her to change to the perfect light for whatever she is working on.The brightness has excellent clarity, especially for her detailed drawings. The A3 size is perfect for her larger drawings, giving her more space to work.Verdict:This A3 LED light box has transformed my daughter's drawing so much. Adjusting colour temperature and brightness is absolutely brilliant, and it has provided her with additional freedom to get the details of her work just right. It's an essential piece of equipment for anyone wanting to draw or sketch and is also excellent for tracing or diamond painting. She loves it, and I can see why.

This is a nice rechargeable light pad with carrying case - though it could be improved.Though this can be used for tracking existing artwork, it also comes in handy when weeding cut vinyl. The cut lines on vinyl before its weeded can be very difficult to see in some light. In the past I've used a flashlight at an oblique angle to see the edges of cut lines when weeding. With the cut vinyl graphic on the light table, the cut lines are more readily visible as seen in the photo.Pros:Rechargeable batteryCarrying / Storage Case IncludedPerfect size for letter sized paperGreat for tracingExcellent for weeding cut vinyl graphicsSelectable choice of color temperaturesBright light that can be dimmed to suit your preferenceLong work time between chargesCharges fairly quickly via USB-C charging portThe pad is thin (.35in) and relatively light weight.Includes magnets to hold your design in place, though they're not truly useful (see Cons)Vertical and horizontal rulers are included in both metric / centimeters and Imperial / inches. The are oriented perfectly so if you prefer one measurement over another, just turn the pad 180 degrees, the measurements will still be readable. The rulers and graduations aren't what I would prefer - see Cons. You can adjust the brightness by choosing one of the 6 preset levels with a short press on the brightness button, or use stepless dimming with a long press on the brightness button. The carrying case has handles for carrying, but the handles can be tucked inside the built in pockets if not needed.A detachable shoulder strap is included with the carrying case. The case includes a pocket for storage of documents or artworkThere is an LED indicator light for charging that is red when charging, blue when fully charged.Cons:Based on grammatical / content errors in the listing detail, communication may be an issue if ever support is needed.Example "We promise to response you within 24 hours".There is no actual manual, just a half page illustrated sheet of instructions. The content is terse and incomplete. For example, the ability to have stepless brightness dimming isn't referenced at all. This is covered in the product detail page, but it should be in the documentation provided in case the listing is no longer available / accessible at some point. As with the product detail, review for content, grammar, and most importantly comprehension by an experience editor that is either fluent or native speaking would improve perception. The errors may give customers a perception of carelessness - not that of a professional company. No charger is included, only the cable. This may not be a significant detractor since most will have chargers for their phones, tablets and other devices that can be used.Though magnets are provided, they are all but worthless and I would have done this differently. The magnets are encased in plastic that I thought was so that you could place them with the plastic side down to avoid scuffing of the pad surface. But the magnets are so weak they don't attach to the pad through the plastic - even though the plastic is fairly thin. You have to place these on the pad with the magnet side down. The plastic around the magnets are apparently to make them easier to grip. I would have used strong Neodymium (also referred to as Rare Earth) magnets, used the same plastic housing and put a thin piece of felt on the magnet to avoid scuffing the pad surface when attached. As provided, the magnets are so poor / weak, they're all too easily moved so serve only to hold paper down, not to hold it in place.Though the working area is sufficient for letter sized paper at 8.5x11", the rulers and graduations are inset from the corners of the work area. This leaves me wondering what the intended purpose of the ruler and graduations is - as if the manufacturer didn't think this through. I would rather have the graduations outside the work area with position 0, 0 in the corner of the actual usable / lighted work area. As implemented, it's unclear what is to be measured without manually accounting for the offset.Possible improvements:A magnetic ruler would have been a nice additionFor myself, I would prefer that the graduations begin at the corners of the usable work area.A charger could be included - minimally the product detail should be updated to indicate a USB type C charger is needed and not included.

I was a little confused at first. The light did not seem bright enough for tracing through watercolor paper. I had to read the instructions to figure out the three buttons and how they work. I am not a younger tech person with lots of charging adapters either so I had to borrow one from another device, but I ordered three more so I will have them soon. But now I have figured it all out and I love the new light board. I had a small one but needed a larger one. This one I well worth the money. I wanted a good quality board that worked well, and you need to invest the money to get a good product. Getting the least expensive often costs you more in the long term. I should have gotten a large one to begin with. I advise you to buy the board, make sure you have the adapter to charge it and read the instructions. You will be well pleased if you do.

Using this has made detailed work much easier. The lighting is even across the surface, reducing shadows that would usually be a problem. The different brightness levels help in various lighting conditions, and the colour temperature options make a noticeable difference when working on different materials. The controls are well-placed and avoid accidental adjustments, which has been an issue with other models. Having the freedom to use it wirelessly for long sessions without worrying about power has been a game-changer. The surface stays cool even after extended use, and there’s no flickering, which means no eye strain. The included clips hold paper or canvases firmly without getting in the way. The build feels sturdy but not heavy, making it easy to move when needed. Having used different versions before, this one stands out in terms of comfort and practicality.

A useful piece of equipment for art and craft activities. We’ve used it for tracing, diamond art and drawing and it has been a great help. It is fairly light and thin so can be stored and transported easily should you need. A full charge has lasted more than 24 hours, however that was on a low light setting as I do find the brightest, white setting too bright to use comfortably. It is easy to get the right setting that suits each individual. Unfortunately it doesn’t come with a stand and we have found it a little tricky to find something that holds it without slipping, but it’s a minor irritation. It doesn’t come cheap, but it seems like a very good quality piece of equipment.

I am in no way shape or form an avid artist or crafter. But I am someone who owns a business that requires me (and I need to be) creative with designing products labels and trying to get ideas out of my head and into something visible.I do have an A3 paper pad that I’ve been drawing ideas into but thought this would ramp up the process. This A3 LED Light Box has become an indispensable tool in my creative process. Here's why it stands out:Design and Build Quality: The sleek, ultra-thin design makes it portable without compromising on durability. The A3 size offers ample workspace, accommodating larger projects with ease.Illumination: The brightness is impressive, providing uniform light across the surface. The adjustable brightness feature allows for precise control, ensuring optimal visibility for various tasks.Battery Life: The built-in 4000mAh battery is a game-changer. After a full charge, I enjoyed several hours of uninterrupted, cordless use, enhancing flexibility in my workspace.User-Friendly Features: The side physical buttons are intuitive and responsive, making it easy to adjust settings without disrupting workflow. The inclusion of a type-C charging port ensures fast and convenient charging.Versatility: Whether I'm tracing intricate designs, working on diamond painting, or sketching, this light box delivers consistent performance. It's also beneficial for viewing negatives and calligraphy practice.Final Thoughts: The A3 LED Light Box combines functionality with thoughtful design, making it a valuable addition to any artist or crafter's toolkit. Its portability, adjustable brightness, and robust battery life make it a standout choice for amateurs like me (!!) and professionals.

My wife and I do a lot of projects that require duplication of portions or all of other pieces that can be too large to run through the printer, so we have to do them by hand and a light board makes the task so much nicer/easier. We have owned a few through the years, most of them much smaller(usually A4) than this one at A3. The size on this one is absolutely fantastic! It does come with a carrying valise, a Type C charging cable and 2 magnets. The magnets however will only work on about the outer 1" of the working area and even then aren't super strong. They will hold standard copier paper but when I used heavier bond, like 80 or 100lb, you could tell the difference. The lighting scheme for this board is great. There are 3 buttons on the bottom left or top right corner depending on how you have your board oriented. The button closest to the side bezel will be the power button, the middle button will scroll through the 3 different lighting schemes which are white, yellow and bluish(blended). The 3rd button scrolls through the intensity levels and each has 6 levels from dimmest to brightest. It is great to be able to have the different levels and colors, it makes it easier to work especially when you may be working with colored papers.Charging was straight forward, though it only comes with the USB C cable. You will need to provide the plug adapter. Once plugged in, a red light will display during charging and then turn blue when complete. One thing I would say about the powering on/off is when you put the board back into the valise for storage, be mindful on which way you orient the valise. I did not an apparently the power button was depressed, turning the board on overnight. The plus for this incident is with the white light on at its highest intensity and facing forward, I didn't notice it until I took it out several hours later. It was that way through the whole night, right next to my side of the bed. So, the case is good to go, lol!The outer bezels of the board are marked with both Imperial and metric, one side for each. Making it a handy reference to align your work/projects without having to pull out the rulers. The "screen" is NOT made of glass or polycarbonate but rather a harder plastic that is still somewhat flexible but is fine for using various mediums for your work without causing indentations.I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this board and probably have a few dozen hours on it already. As a hobby wood worker I have some projects where I sketch plans that are larger than a standard home printer and trying to create copies prior to this arriving were difficult to say the least. Being able to quickly knock out several copies without having to move the worksheet around a smaller board is nice. My wife likes to paint and from time to time will work with watercolors. Watercolor paper is much thicker than standard paper and with the intensity of the lights on this board she is able to transfer her drawings/outlines with much ease. I no longer hear the frustration and crumpling of paper. For the professional or even just the hobbyist, this is perhaps the perfect size lightboard with the right combination of lights and intensities. The price too is perfect.

This light pad put my old bulky one to shame and impressed me from start to finish. The light pad comes boxed with 4 magnets, instructions, and a USB charging cable. The main panel oozes quality and feels very solid, but what really blew me away was the thickness—just 8.5mm! They barely mention it, but it's one of its best features. The narrow border also helps keep the overall bulk down. The main panel has inches and millimeters marked along each edge, and the controls are physical buttons on one side.In UseI was already impressed with the pad, but the actual light and controls took it to another level. The light is perfectly even across the panel, and the brightness is intense at the highest setting—bright enough to shine through a variety of papers, including thick magazine pages, making it perfect for tracing. The light can be dimmed down, and while it says 'stepless' dimming, there are actually 6 presets. I prefer this as it's quicker to use. There are also three color temperatures to choose from. The magnets stick around an inset border and can only be applied around the edges, which is a bit of a shame if you use smaller sizes like A4, as you can't center it.The highlights for me were the size, thickness, and how lightweight it was. I could comfortably use this on my lap, and the internal battery meant no cable getting in the way, making it more convenient. Four hours at max brightness was good and lasted a lot longer at the dimmer end. Finally, I loved how convenient it was to stash away between uses. I could tuck it away upright in so many places—it might sound like a small thing, but it's something I appreciated nonetheless.Value for money is difficult to gauge. At the current discounted price, it's an absolute bargain for the quality and size. At full price, it lacks some extras that other pads at this price offer, but if you find the right price, you can be assured you're receiving an excellent light pad.Why is it better than my old pad? For a few reasons: the thickness, the rigidity, being cable-free, uniform brightness, and overall convenience. My old one went straight into the charity box.
