I am using these Rebar Caps with my latest project...a retaining wall using cinder blocks, cement and rebar. After getting the concrete base poured, the rebar is sticking up vertically and I have to maneuver around the rebar to place more blocks and pour more filler concrete.I've noticed that while concentrating on pour or the placement of brick, I don't concentrate on safety as much as the task at hand. Loosing balance with one of the heavy blocks could easily result in a puncture wound.There have been several times I find my face and eyes closer to the rebar than safety would dictate and I had to warn myself to be more aware.These orange Rebar Caps are the answer. They fit snuggly right over the top of my 1/2" rebar and provide an excellent rounded surface to deflect body parts.They not only provide safety for the builder, they protect others from puncture wounds as well.

With having had property surveyed, these came in handy to cover the metal stakes to protect cutting the grass. Worked out great.
