Installed this, put the transmission back in, and it poured oil. Thought something was done wrong, pulled the transmission back out, pulled the cover plate and rear seal back out, reinstalled everything exactly right, put it all back together, and it still poured oil. Went to town, bought an AC Delco kit rear oil, seal kit, installed it, no leaks whatsoever. Not sure what was wrong with this kit, but it obviously was not manufactured correctly.

Tried to install this on a 5.3 and it simply would t mout up flush, no issue with other brands. It took several messages back and forth but they did finally refund my money

Will probably just use the cover because its clean and better shape than the original. The seal came pre-installed and that's not a good thing. You need it out of the way to get your alignment tool to fit. The cover gasket is ify too. It won't line up great an you'll have a hell of a time trying to get it lines up. Ended up going to O'Reilly's and getting a Fel-pro seal and gasket kit.
