The actual seat is going to work fine. I like the style of it. Baby fits well and seems comfortable. The plastic is pretty thin though and so are the metal leg posts. It looks real cheap. Installation was easy, just a couple cheap nuts and bolts. I'll probably end up replacing them with something sturdier. The lap belt is terrible, throw it away. (I bought a new one at Ace for $2.) The 3-point harness is also terrible. It is only connected to the seat insert (which is its own separate piece). The seat insert only attaches to the back of the seat by two terrible velcro pieces..a child could easily lean forward and accidentally pull the velcro apart and wouldn't be attached to anything but the crappy lap belt which is already basically broken. Again, just throw that away.So far just the seat and the new lap belt will work for us. I may look into adding a 3-piece harness later. Not a great value. It shouldn't be more than $25...

Picture instructions,no written words, no labeling on the different screws and bolts so it's guess work. Took about 20 min to set up because of that but once you figure it out it's easy and can take it off and put back to gether in less than 10 min.

Comes disassembled; took about 30 minutes to put everything together before mounting to the bike. Used for e-bike and was a great fit. Handle bars are optional. There is a way to widen side bars so it can grow with your kid. Great product. Worked perfect.

Rear backrest is way too short, lacking proper seat belt/restraint.... Feel like my kid may fall out... Cheap construction, 1 bolt anchor ended up pushing through the seat backer, causing the attachment bracket to bike not properly being secured to the wood. Would not buy again or recommend to anyone.

I got an older version of this seat a few years ago where the foot holds were just welded on and they broke off in 20 mins…. I was so excited to see that the foot holds now had a sturdy base to attach them on, however the bars are in the outside where my daughters legs go, luckily she didn’t mention them bugging her but I’ll be watching to see if they rub her. One part that’s totally not good is the seat actually moves up and down on the base attached to the bike cause there isn’t anything to hold the front or back. It’s just around the side bars and moves front to back gliding on the side bars.

We had a prior version of this with a thinner rear plate (causing the arms to wobble and eventually the mounting bolts to pull out) and poorly welded foot rests (one of which broke after a couple months).THIS version has been improved with bolted on foot rests and a thicker rear plate. If you, like me, also suffered with the old version, take your old thin rear plate and stack it ONTO this newer thick plate and together the two plates are super solid. Has been working great with our 6 year old. For added insurance, we mounted the handlebars and backrest directly to the bike rack instead of to the seat
