I love the size of these insects. My 3yr old is into insects and I love learning resources toys so it was a no brainer. However, these insects did not hold up to my 3yr old. Almost every single one aside from the grasshopper and lady bug are broken in some way. For the price, they should be a more durable.

My nephew (4) loves these giant bugs. His sister and me, not so much. But so far he just uses them with his dinosaurs as dino bugs. Very detailed and interesting, if a little too realistic.

I bought this set as a Montessori type of learning tool for my 18-month-old daughter. She loves playing with them and it was easy for her to learn the names quickly. Good quality and realistic. Very nice paint jobs too.

My daughter is 2 years old, almost 3, and loves these bugs! They have been a big hit. They are thicker material and seem well made for plastic toys. My 1 year old plays with them too and they seem durable enough that she won't bite a piece off.

It's my third set of items from the Jumbo series of toys and they're all great for teaching and play. The children don't seem to lose interest and these continue to get lots of play time. They've been a hit when travelling overseas ... children who speak different languages find that they can play together and enjoy these. They're well made and durable.

My son loves bees! I really wanted to get him some figures for Christmas but he was only 1 at the time and everything said "choking hazard" or was too small but these were perfect! He loves chasing his sister and I with them while we pretend to be scared and they never lose their "charm" in his opinion (he's playing with the fly right now and he's had them for 6 months). I would definitely buy them again!
