This - Real/Genuine Round Leather Cord for Jewelry Making, Necklaces, Bracelets, Braiding, Leather Crafts - Matte Finish (Dark Brown - Matte, 2 mm) – very much reminds me of the leather cording that I had once purchased many years ago when I have first began working with leather. The quality of that leather was superb. I’m hoping that this coding will follow suit.I haven’t yet had the opportunity to try to use this cording in one of my designs so I do not know how well it will perform, or if the color will wear off when being pulled through holes in pieces of firm leather, or when stretched and braided. If it does, I will be buying this again and in different colors too.The diameter of the cord seems to be accurate and consistent throughout. It smells great too.Price wise, for Round Leather Cord, 2.0mm, from a different supplier, I normally pay $8.59 (without shipping cost) for a 10 Meter Spool. At the time of the writing of this review, this leather cording is near $13.00 for a 20 meter spool which is a better deal. If it performs as I hope, I'll be back to buy more.

I do create jewelry, however, I had another use in mind when I ordered this beautiful leather cord. We are remodeling our teeny kitchen to accommodate my new business (garden to table herbs & spices;) and I was in need of an esthetically pleasing & more organic yet functional way to hang some of my most used kitchen tools to keep them handy. This cord works PERFECT! I ordered the 1.5 size, it's really strong & durable, and I am thrilled with how it looks! Such beautiful coloring on this cord, for such a reasonable cost, I'll be ordering another to keep in my jewelry supplies, want to keep this one in my kitchen!

This 3mm round leather cord was just what I was looking for to do some DIY crafts. It was uniformly round with an accurate diameter of 3mm and a nice soft matte finish. The color looks great and has an antique aged look. The leather also smells pleasant and fresh. They feel really durable and I was able to make what I needed with some simple knots. I still have a lot of material left for future use as well, the entire spool is about 10 meters.

This review is for the 2mm variant. The cord came well packaged, wound onto a hard plastic spool with a 1/2” hole in the center. Something about this center, which I think is often overlooked, is the positioning of the label text on the end. I wish that manufacturers would consider the possibility that the end user may want to put a rod or something through the center of the spool without obliterating the label. Very rarely do I see a spool like this which allows for this possibility while keeping the label intact for future identification. Not huge deal, but really, it would not be that hard to remedy. I like to mount spools on my workbench for quickly pulling off the desired amount, so I will probably re-label it afterward.The cord itself is quite strong and durable. I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth it is. I guess I don’t really know what I was expecting since it was clear from the outset that this was not a rough-out cord. This makes it perfect for lacing, handle wraps and many other uses. The antique finish/dye is outstanding. It gives the cord a vintage look like I really like. It is also extremely flexible and easy to work with.All things considered, I think this leather cord is very nice.

This leather cord is gorgeous and easy to work with. It also seems to be made of high quality materials and I like that the cord was wrapped on a plastic spool rather than a cardboard one since they get ratty looking pretty fast.

This leather cord is strong and the color matches what was depicted on the product page. There is no strong odor and the hole in the spool is large enough to put a rod or dowel through in order to hang the spool and roll off your desired length. I am a mixed media artist and crafter so keep many differnt types of twine, leather, and cording for my projects. I really like this premium leather cording in the 3 mm because it offers a thicker size for necklaces, bracelets, shoe laces, etc., while still remaining flexible and not stiff. I think this is a great product and would buy again in the future.

I loved the quality of the leather - It is very hard to find this kind of material in matte finishing. Looks very classy and fashion (chic)! I will definitely will order again!
