My 12 year old daughter is an avid reader. She was elated to get this for Christmas. It wasn’t on her list, but she had been eyeing ones. She was excited about the varied options for recording her thoughts about books she’s read or intends to read.

makes me feel organized and is a great way to track my reading in a fun and artsy way. i have had mine for about two months and the spine seems to be breaking a bit so thats not the best. But the journal itself is very useful and cute. Just buy a few pastel highlighters to decorate the pages and it is so cute.

I didn't know how I would like this, and I have found out I love it. You can keep track of all books read, what you thought / felt, what books you have yet to read that you come across etc. It's better than GoodReads because you know what books you have what what books you do not. Love it..

Great idea to track your reading and remember key things about novel. Built well, thick paper, color matches, had various layouts.

I have an avid teen reader, who uses this to record books she has read. She makes a few notes about the book and likes/dislikes(simple one page) and preserves the experience. I originally got this for her to keep track of her summer reading list, to refer back to in fall when school started, Ennis was great for that purpose. However, what I wasn’t expecting was how satisfying it is for the reader to accumulate their accomplishments together in this little notebook. This is a great gift idea! I believe it encourages reading and gives a self-generated reward for accomplishments- which in itself is a meaningful skill/strategy to build in your kids or yourself!
