The spot to put your detergent is just an open spot on the door. It literally just falls out of the slot when you close the door. What in the world is the point of even having that slot to put detergent if it's just going to fall down into the dishwasher as soon as you close the door? Makes zero sense, who designed this??I use dissolvable dishwasher pods instead of powder. I instead put the pod on the cutlery rack, dissolves and works just fine there.Honestly deserves 5 stars simply because it arrived undamaged. My first experience I bought a comfee or whatever that garbage brand name is and it arrived damaged and unusable. RCA is a household brand people recognize so I trusted them when buying a new dishwasher even though it only had 2 ratings. Great experience.

I love this! I can’t say enough about it. It works awesome. Definitely would recommend for 1 person’s dishes.
