The remote control will require additional AA batteries. You will need a small screwdriver to open the battery compartments. The remote control requires the trigger to be pushed forward for forward movement and pulled back for reverse; this is opposite how it should be. Despite nice looking tread on the tires it gets easily stuck in dirt or sand or grass. The truck has a hard time going forward and turning either direction as all the weight is over the drive tires. This was a gift for my 5yo nephew it was ok for the money but not great.

After several attempts, this will move about 3 feet and quit. Seems to be an issue with loose connection in wiring. Easier to just keep it instead of return. Can be used for spare parts or let my grandson take it apart and try to fix it. That's how kids learn thigs helpful in life. * Package appeared to be a return as it wasn't packaged like they usually are. Also the video shows this truck doing a nose drive and keeping on going. I feel it would break badly by seconded attempt.
