Esc works fine. It is advertised as NO BRAKE! But it dose have a brake so if you shearched for the ones without a brake and thought you found them do in fact did not.

Update:They kindly sent a replacement and it works fine.————Got erratic and unpredictable behavior from the first one. Swapped in the second one and everything was fine. Not ideal and kind of a waste. Seems a common problem, unfortunately.

I ordered this item for a robot I built and it worked great. 18 months later I ordered another set but they did not work. The manufactor went above and beyond to help me fix the problem even sending me a new set of controllers for free. Turns out the problem was my fault as I ordered the wrong part. They were willing to send me a correct set again for free. I build robots as a hobby and will certainly buy from this manufacture again.

These little guys are perfect for my newest project, and look to be built very well. I like the fact that it has a switch that works for the BEC, so that I can keep the main power on while turning off parts that aren't being used at that time. Aside from that, the ESCs work as intended, will buy again.

These work great in my fairyweight (150g) combat robot powering n20 gearmotors. The power switch behavior is a little weird, it seems to only control the BEC, so if your receiver is powered by another BEC watch out -- the switch can be off and the motor will still go.However if you're powering your motors via the receiver like I do, with the switch off the LED on the ESC will turn on and dim and everything but the motor won't turn until you turn on the power switch. Took me a while to figure that one out.For what I'm doing I can't use that switch anyway so I just removed it as well as the leads for the battery, which meant I had to short the pads that the switch was on. Easy peasy. Removing those leads really makes the package much smaller too so it's worth doing if you're not gonna use them.

Seemed good until you run it. I bought 2 both are igzactly the same. Output power is correct. Problem is anything past half throttle becomes full throttle and no matter what you do the car is in full throttle till you can turn it off. Goodluck with that. Hopefully you can run fast enough or a flying rc, yah sounds fun. Might as well just hook motor to battery.

I used both ESC in a small RC FPV tracked vehicle driven by 4 small dc motors (like these: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CJZ58G5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ), 2 motors to a track. Each ESC drives 2 motors in parallel, powered by a 2S 2200mAh LiPo battery & controlled by a 6 channel FlySky receiver. I use a discrete BEC attached to the battery to provide a power source for receiver & camera. They work fine running the motors both forward & reverse from minimum to maximum throttle & I have seen no indications of heat buildup issues even after protracted full throttle operation. The only component that doesn't seem to work is the on/off switch. The ESC's behave the same regardless of whether the switches are in the "on" or "off" position. I assume the switch was intended to enable/disable the ESC, but no instructions were provided so that is just my assumption at this point. In any case, this does not impact my use so I am not deducting any stars from the review.
