Works as good as the ones you buy in the pool store and are 1/3 the price.

These fuses are one time overheat (flame rollout safety switches) or fuses. If your gas furnace blows (burns out) this swich/fuse, there typically is some issue with forced air (fan on) pushing flame out of heat exchanger onto thermal fuse (metallic part) due to a cracked cell. Many times a crack or separation allows the flame to forcefully push back out of the defective heat exchanger cell (rollout) onto itself when the blower fan comes on. They are one and done. No reset safety switches (fuses). Also, they typically don't just go bad bc they're old. I've worked on 20-30 year old systems with original safties. Replaced the heat exchanger and blown safety and left the other old one without issue. Additionally, installing a 152*c (@ 306*f) versus 167*c 333*f) is @ 9* c (27*f) is moot. A typical blue flame traveling into a heat exchanger cell can get up to over 3600*f. Any flame rollout will burn out (blow) a 260*c (500* f) safety switch/ fuse.24+ years HVAC, Electrical, Mechanical & Construction

I started up my Raypak pool heater hoping to warm my pool up when halfway thru the fuse failed. The computer told me it was the fuse so I googled the part and quickly found it on Amazon. I decided to buy 5 because these fuses always break down and I don’t want to be left in cold water again. It does it’s job just like the original. Very nice and good price too.

Got 5 because if one or two goes out when its -20F it will cost a lot more to call in a person. Last winter I had some insulation fall and burn 2 out. I am ready for unforseen things now.
