1.Turn the Water Tank upside down. Remove the water tank cap
2.Fill the tank with clean and cool water only .
3.Attach the tank cap. Place the tank back onto the base.

I chose this humidifer based on all the glowing reviews. I would give it 5 stars for portable but effective size, ease of use, ease of cleaning, and price. I'm taking off one star because it's advertised as "whisper quiet." Yes, the mist output is mostly pretty quiet. But if you're running this all night in a small bedroom, you may be awakened multiple times by some loud knocking noises -- I'm guessing it's the water level receding or resettling. If you or child is a light sleeper or feeling unwell, this isn't ideal. My sick teenager begged me to take the humidifier out of his room after the first night because he kept getting startled awake. Now I'm on the fence whether to keep it or try another model.

As advertised and works as intended.I bought this in 2022 and I'm coming back to order a new one, in 2025. My unit has started making a stranger grinding noise when I turn it on. I think I must've run it with too low of water and it messed up the mechanisms. I don't blame the product and hey, it lasted 3 years!I've really really loved having this humidifier. I bought it originally to keep moisture for my house plants, but loved having it run, especially in the wintertime, to help my air quality, dry skin, and the static shock in the wintertime! Excited for my new one to come in so I can use it again.Cons: I do wish it had a timer shutoff function, but that could be achieved with a smart plug if needed. I just make sure it's full, turn it on in the mornings and off in the evenings.Definitely reccomend! (And you can put cute stickers to the sides to add some personality.)

I HAVE TRIED MANY MINATURE HUMIDIFIERS ALL OF WHICH HAD DRAWBACKS FOR ONE REASON OR ANOTHER-THIS ONE IS NOT SO MINATURE BUT ALMOST RATES AS ONE-WORKS WELL- PRETTY QUIET IS NOT TOO BIG-EASY TO HANDLE-SHOOTS WATER UP VERY FAR INSTEAD OF JUST FALLING-CLEANS EASY ENOUGH AND COMES IN BLACK COLOR SO IT DOESNT STAND OUT-I LIKE IT

My unit did not have a fall or anything and I woke up to water all over the place because it cracked on the inside of the unit where the valve is to accept water into the base. Waste of money. Don’t recommend.
