Instructions not great but pretty simple overall to put together - mostly common sense and not a lot of parts to deal with. Don't stress looking for where the extra 4 end caps go (like I did), they're there in case you want to have 2 smaller units rather than a single taller unit. Would buy again.

Aquarium Hobbyist Review:Let me start by saying this shelf is SUPER easy to put together, anyone that says its hard to assemble or unstable either wasn't following the directions or didn't do it right. I got the shelf assembled by myself in about an hour. Everything is straight and even, no scuff, no marks, no bad parts. My only complaint is that the shelves are a tad flimsy, they can hold weight no problem but if you have a bit more weight on one side than the other the shelf tends to have a slight flex to it making it appear warped. I have 3 of the 4 shelves currently assembled with (2) 5.5 Gallon on top, (1) 20 long in the middle, then (1) 10 gallon on the bottom shelf that will be swapped for another 20 long in the very near future. I will post photos of the shelf later to show how I have it setup. The only thing I will be "altering" is that ill be adding some plywood under the tanks to just help better distribute the weight of the fish tanks.Overall I would purchase this stand again if I needed to replace it or wanted to add more tanks.

I've been buying at Amazon for many years and this is the first time I've wanted to write a review. I am very happy with this shelving unit. It looks great and was relatively easy to put together. (Note that I'm 75 and I assembled it alone.) So here's my review...Too often products arrive slightly damaged because they were inadequately protected by their packaging. Sometimes they are missing parts or assembly instructions. This unit's carton showed some signs of being bumped around, but the inside packaging was so thorough, every piece came out in pristine condition. The shelves especially were additionally saved from the bumping by thick, multilayered cardboard corner strengtheners. The result, no scratched parts, no bent or twisted parts.Included with the parts was an easy to understand and follow assembly manual, and even, as promised, a good pair of protective gloves. They company also included a small rubber mallet to use during assembly. I personally found it too small and light, perhaps because of my age, so I used a larger one that I owned. And those corner strengtheners mentioned earlier made great paint protectors so my heavier mallet left no marks.The design of unit is excellent. When all the vertical and horizontal pieces were assembled, I double checked with the mallet that all connections were solid before inserting the shelves. They all fit easily and are perfectly level.The whole operation, from unpacking to finished unit, took me about two hours. This includes making coffee and one break to stretch my hamstrings. All in all, I'm very happy with how the unit arrived, and even happier with how the finished shelving looks.

Easy building, no hassles or additional steps, instructions were really straight forward to follow and now i have a shelf i am really happy with! There were a few reviews on this product claiming and complaining about this product not “holding” its weight and that the shelves “bow” and bend like they are cheap metal sheets. While they have the quality of something less (get what you paid for) you acquire what is being asked! A shelf that can hold heavy weighted items. If built correctly!Me (95lbs) and my brother (175lbs) both were able to sit and put a 20lb bag of litter on this thing with us and it held us with no strain or odd movementEnsure when you decide to purchase this item that you install all parts accordingly, especially the frame or it will bow from heavy items.As shown in the picture, this shelf is holding a giant glass enclosure for a bearded dragon

This shelf system is the one of the easiest to put together. No tools required. It comes with a rubber hammer. If you hammer the rails down and make sure they are fully seated, it will go together super easy and quickly. I couldn't find the instructions in the box, so by looking at the pictures, I had it put together in 15 minutes. On average it shouldn't take any more than 30 mins to put it together; I've found out I'm smarter than most people I know so don't be surprised if yours isn't together in 15 mins.I read a lot of reviews where people had problems putting it together. Please don't read those reviews because those people are not very intelligent. It's all metal and once installed, it is very firm and should work perfectly for our breakroom.
