My son has not used it yet - let alone seen it…..but for the price I would expect for it not to have any flaws - and there is a small tear in the handle right out of the box. So hoping the wrapping holds up like it should.Will update once used -

This is one of the hottest bats around, especially with heavy hitters. This bat is extremely well made, we've had no end cap issues like last year. It has a great feel all the way through the swing. There was a learning curve and it felt sluggish to control like it was a little barrel heavy. By the time it was broken in that wasn't noticeable anymore. It packs a very powerful punch and the sweet spot feels so good, you know it's gone. It also has a great sound, it's very satisfying. The only issue is the high price point.

This ICON bat is the Cadillac of whacking balls! Every little detail is premium in both feel and aesthetic. I only have one gripe (so let’s get it out of the way), the camo. Had I’d seen this in the photos I wouldn’t have bought it. However, I’m thankful I didn’t see it because now I have an amazing baseball that’ll last a lifetime.The extent of my baseball-ing begins and ends at the batting cages. It’s fun to blow off some steam while getting a good stretch on nearly all muscles (Satan knows I need it!) So, my experience may vary from yours…I went with the 33/30 because I like those numbers better than the other options, plus, I don’t crowd the plate when batting so, a couple of extra inches seemed beneficial. Heck, who wouldn’t want a couple of extra inches on the ol’ bat, eh? Anywho, after unpacking I was immediately blown away by the sheer presence of this masterpiece (sans the camo). The weight is spot on at 30oz. and the grip circumference feels just right when wearing batting gloves (without the gloves it feels a bit narrow but that may be all in my head). Swinging these beast feels so natural and that first contact was glorious! Everything from the sound, to the near-absence of vibration, to the distance of my hit, all exceeded my expectations. I racked off another 100 balls and surprisingly I wasn’t as nearly as fatigued as I was when using the metal bats provided by the park. Lastly, it’s a conversation piece for folks like me as everyone asked about it, or to try it, which I obliged, and then reeled in horror when I revealed the price. But even for weekend warriors like myself, the value was obvious. Get this bat and thank yourself later!

This is an exceptionally well made BBCOR bat with low vibration and excellent swing characteristics. The fit and finish are absolutely reflected in the price point and the color scheme is sure to turn heads no matter where you go with it. Overall, an incredible bat that will provide years of faithful service if properly cared for.

The Rawlings 2025 ICON Baseball Bat delivers excellent performance on the field. The -3 drop and 2 5/8" barrel provide great balance and power, making it easy to make solid contact. The two-piece composite design offers a nice feel during swings. However, the price is noticeably higher compared to similar bats on the market, which might make it a tough sell for some players. Overall, it's a solid choice if you’re willing to invest a bit more for quality!
