These smell horrendous. Our pup loved them but they could stink up a whole room.

We don't feed our dog bonus treats very often, but when we do we want something that doesn't get inhaled in under 3.2seconds.+ Our dog has to work at these a bit.+ The aroma is very, very, very strong! (did I get enough "very's" in there)Dogs tend to have bad breath to begin with, but "Holy Stinky Breath Batman!", these take it to another level. But since a dog's brain is stimulated through scent, this really helps them a lot.+ Dog loved it!+ No strange digestion issue or diarrhea for the dog.OVERALL:A great dog treat!!

I had to throw these away, it reminded me of the rendering buckets for chicken bones at my old work. Just smelled bad. I didn’t want them eating something that smells like that, it just seemed rancid. I may be wrong, but my god when I open a bag and gag, I can’t let my dog have them.Other than the smell, they are large and would have probably gone over well. I just couldn’t trust the smell.

So first of all, when these first arrived…I was taken aback. At the risk of sounding dumb…these REALLY ARE the ears of buffalo! They MUST be based on their sheer size, alone!😆 I just had NO idea how large buffalo ears would be.That said, the large size of these buffalo ear chews was “no paw-blem at all” for our 3 year-old/85 lb. Male English Cream Golden Retriever! He’s absolutely in LOVE with these things!❤️PROS:• One of these ears keeps our boy occupied for a solid 15-20 minutes straight. At LEAST. Sometimes a little longer (Note: Our boy has a habit of INHALING *any* food we throw his way— in comparison to most other dogs his age, he consumes all of the chews we’ve tried MUCH more quickly).• Single ingredient, all natural treats? Yes please! This will be especially important for those of you out there who (like us)— constantly struggle with locating *ANY* budget-friendly, limited ingredient dog treats & chews for your food allergy-laden pupper!CONS:• They smell to the high heavens. It’s not the fault of the seller…these things aren’t made to SMELL GOOD. In fact, they’re not for us humans, at all— they’re for our dogs!Seriously, though….they do smell REALLY bad. Plug your nose upon opening up the bag. Just…go ahead & trust me on this one.Aside from the one, uncontrollable side effect that I mentioned above? I can think of ZERO other issues to bring up in RE: to these buffalo ears.5 out of 5 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟We will be re-ordering more in the very near future!😍

I have a 7 yr old, 70 lb foxhound mix and a 2.5 yr old, 30 lb heeler mix. Both girls were SO excited when I opened this bag, probably because they could immediately smell them across the house, it's the only reason I'm not giving 5 stars. They stink when they are out of the bag and you will smell them the whole time your dog chews on them. Other than that, they are fantastic! I'm always looking for an alternative to rawhide that lasts anywhere near the same amount of time and these definitely fit the bill. My older dog was done with hers in 35 min and it took my younger dog close to an hour to finish it all. They are a little pricey considering there are only 5 in the bag (about $5 for each chew), but definitely a fun treat or distraction for special occasions!

It is hard to give this product 3 stars because my 50-lb Airedoodle Indy absolutely loves them. As soon as we get one out of the bag he is immediately on alert and hyper for his treat. My biggest issue is that they do not in any way stand up to the claim of being "long lasting for aggressive chewers." My dog is absolutely an aggressive chewer, though at the same time he is a medium sized pup that still isn't quite 1. For him, these things are absolutely gone within 30 minutes. He is in absolute heaven for those 30 minutes, but I really would have liked to see a lot more chew time at $5/each.

When I opened the bag the smell of rotten meat came out. I gave one ear to my pup, and she loved it so much she carried it everywhere. Unfortunately I have a really sensitive nose, and so I finally had to make this an outside toy, lol. However, the advantages outweigh the, uh, stink. First of all, my dog loves it. And all visiting dogs love this. It must smell heavenly to dogs, lol. Second, my pup has had it for about two weeks, she chews it every day, and besides one raggedy looking end, it is all intact. Third, it doesn't seem to tear apart into big chunks like normal rawhide chews do, nor does it easily crunch up and get devoured like a pig ear. When it's chewed on, only little tiny curls come off so there's nothing to choke on AND it lasts a long time. Now, my dog is only 14 weeks old at this point, but she's going to be a large dog when she's grown and she already weighs 30 lbs. And she's teething at this point, so she's doing a lot of chewing on it. $25 seems kind of pricey for 5 buffalo ears, but if they last this long then they are worth the money!!
