Probably one of the worst seeds I’ve ever bought. No germination at all. Been waiting for more than a week and put them in soil hoping it would at least sprout but nothing happened. Utterly disappointed with the product. Waste of money for sure.

I thought these seeds were very reasonably priced. About 15 of the seeds germinated; I am happy with that, I now have more plants than i need.

They say it comes with a detailed planting guide. IT DOES NOT! They are very hard to germinate. I managed to get 6 to sprout out of 25after about 4+ weeks. Only 4 are still alive after 2 months. They are only 2" tall so far. I put them in wet paper towel in a baggie and that was the only way I had any luck. I had tried doing them in soil with my first bath, but no luck with any of them.

Do not know what went wrong. I soaked the seeds in a baggie and wet paper towel just like the directions said. Then put in a peat pot with a bunch of morning glory seeds in a small plastic green house. All the morning glory seeds started, but none of the Rare Red Hummingbird Vine Seeds started. Wish I could find these somewhere else that would grow.

I started about 15 seeds in a damp paper towel, stored in an open ziplock bag in my greenhouse. I did not stratify (because I was impatient and figured I had back-up seeds). It took about two weeks for the tap roots to break through and about half the seeds germinated; this was a successful result because I only wanted to start six plants (mature plants are quite large). After the tap roots popped, I transplanted the seeds into soil (mix of worm castings, coco coir, perlite and organic potting soil). They've been growing in a seed tray for about a month and all of the seedlings have survived so far. They seem to be relatively slow growing (compared to the vegetable seeds I normally grow) but I'm pleased by the germination rate and excited to have these beautiful plants climbing the columns on my back porch in a few years.I also ordered Hollyhock seeds from this company earlier this year (I did stratify those in their envelope before attempting to germinate). The Hollyhocks have exploded over the summer and I wouldn't hesitate to buy more seeds from CZ Grain.
Just a guy.

Easy stuff, don't make it hard. Wet Paper Towel squeezed damp, space seeds, fold in half and half again, ziplock back, put in refrigerated for 2 weeks. Plant them as deep as they are wide in good potting soil. 2 weeks later? Bingo. I have mine growing in partial sun in the porch in a pot. It'll take 2 years for them to bloom based on research. 2 years ago was yesterday right? Enjoy.
