I wanted to repair my trash can lid that had split like forked lightning. This product is available in a variety of sizes but I am recommending the 9" x 12" because it comes as a single sheet. Smaller sizes can be irregular (I had one exactly the boasted size and one that was a bit short). The directions are clear and if you wear gloves you won't have any discomfort applying this patch to the area that you want to seal. Having direct sunlight available and a location without it to work while you are applying the patch worked best for my situation. The resin hardens up as expected and the adhesive quality (even bending around at a near right angle) is remarkable. This product has extended the life of my trash can (which I rent from the township so I want it to last forever). I am not certain I would patch a sailboat below the waterline with this, but I would patch anything that wasn't going to be submerged in water.

I bought this to patch some holes in the bottom of my kayak. It was easy to apply and cured quickly out in the sun. Also used it to repair a broken kayak paddle. Both repairs are holding up surprisingly well. Whatever you do though be sure to apply the product in a well ventilated area because it has very strong fumes at first. Once it's cured for about a day the fumes subsided.

Used this product to repair a hole in the FRP cladding of an T11 22k2 ISO container. Easy quick and quality repair. Way faster than riveting a patch on. Will continue to purchase these.

Attempted to patch a hole in the corner of our RV with this - had to remove from package, cut to size, and make a slit cut to go around a corner...By the time the cutting was done, it was hardening and wasn't sticky enough to stick to the surface of the RV.Used screws to screw it in place and caulk to fill in edges where it hardened and wouldn't stick...Really need to make this have a longer UV cure time - it was less than 3 mins and unworkable!

One of our cargo shipping containers had a hole in it from a fork lift and we were not in a position to weld it shut. We thought about giving this fiberglass patch a try and were we surprised! Very easy to use, and great adhesion. One this that you will also need is a UV light to harden the material. Also on a side note, the fumes are very strong so let it ventilate and once its hard, you can use some spray paint to cover it up and remove the smell somewhat. Much cheaper than welding and if you are using it so critters don't get in, it worked great!

My 4 wheeler had areas on both fenders that were cracked ( about 6"x 9" each) and I looked on line for replacement fenders and the cost was about $140 for both. So I found this UV Repair Patch kit and decided to try it. Yes it is a little pricey and I had to buy the large pack to repair my fenders ($42) as I had a large area to repair. So I cleaned the fenders and cut the product to size and laid it right over the cracked plastic fender. I followed directions and pressed it down and after it cured in the sun I had a hard plastic repair that I can now paint to match the flat black of the fender. I cut it with scissors to the right size in the house because it didnt want the sun to activate the product while I was positioning the patch. It turned out great. And saved me alot of money over new fenders. I am sure I will find things that this can be used for in the future so I will be a return customer.
