Should I replace ignition coils with spark plugs?
As spark plugs wear down, the gap in each spark plug is fired is widened meaning the coil needs to provide a higher voltage in order to bridge the gap. This additional strain on the ignition coil may cause voltage overload leading to overheating and eventually failure.

I ordered these items for spare, finally I had chance to use it yesterday. First I installed all 4, car started about 10 minutes no problem. So to pack everything (tools) I turn off the engine. About 15 mins later I turned on the engine and car started to stalling. I insert computer, and P2302 circuit A error code pop ups. I re installed one of the old coil and worked fine. I drove about 40 miles. I parked the car as I am sure it is working. This morning I turned on the car just drive about 1/2 miles, car started to shake and I pulled over put the computer, boom P2302 Circuit C error code. Now I am ordering another brand but not these. These coils are not good. Sorry for the seller but better return these junks back where you purchased. I ll stick up with OEM marked products.

These coil packs arrived in good condition and were easy to install on my 2010 Sebring, 2.4L engine. They are performing well and I've had no issues after 6 months of driving.

2016 Jeep CompassOverall still pleased with purchase and seller (more on that later). Ignition coils were drop in replacements and worked perfectly, spark plugs actually made the car drive a tiny bit worse (not terrible...but not better like it should have) so I pulled out and replaced with plugs from Auto Zone. I noticed when installing the newest set of spark plugs the ones included in this kit were much shorter than the OEM replacements and still had the original plugs to compare as well. Original plugs also matched exactly to the Auto Zone replacements but not the ones included in this kit. *Contacted seller and they made things right*. I assume the wrong spark plugs were included in the kit, hopefully just a simple mistake but something to be on the lookout for. But honestly for the price of the kit you cannot get 4 ignition coils elsewhere for the price so even if you just threw away the included spark plugs the kit would still be a decent buy. If the correct spark plugs were included this would be an easy 5/5 stars but deducting 2 stars for wrong plugs but adding 1 star back because the seller did the right thing after messaging them via Amazon. 4/5 stars overall.

The product arrived on time as promised. Upon opening the boxes, everything appears to be ok. However, I did notice that there was a slight variation in the design of one of the injectors. Nevertheless, it still worked-that was my main concern. I saved about $1500.00, dealership cost, for the same parts and installation. I Installed the sparkplugs, coil packs, and injectors within 2 hours. Very easy. This was the most rewarding decision I have ever made when purchasing parts and repairing a vehicle myself. DIY is my motto-if you know how to use a racket and screwdriver. Thanks AL
