This is a great music station! This didn't come with instructions but I didn't need them, I just looked at the finished picture for what cymbal went where. The legs just screw on, no tools required. This is a little bigger than most music stations and I like that they are all in 1 place instead of the other music sets that have a bunch of loose instruments. The wood is good quality and smooth. I found that it was really neat that the xylophone keys were labeled so they can learn notes easily. This didn't come with a booklet for sample songs but I found some music fairly easily by just googling the xylophone music.

I thought this looked cute online, but in person it's even better. It's adorable and well made. What a fun fun instrument for the grandkids--and the adults too! The xylophone bars are all in tune, and each of the percussion instruments provides a good, clear, unique sound. Of course, the younger kids had a ball just banging away, but the older kids (and adults) were able to get pretty artsy with their musical compositions. At one point, my daughter was playing a lovely tune with gentle percussion, and her little boy came over and curled up against her with his eyes closed, just to take it in. So precious, I wish I'd gotten a picture.I give this an enthusiastic five stars despite the fact that it comes with no directions. It was easy enough to figure out without them, so once we got it put together it all worked out. Highly recommended!

We got this for our nephew who is learning to love music and enjoys playing piano with his mother. The toy is well built and everything works (yes, we gave it a spin). What's nice is that the pieces can come apart which can help make cleaning or storage easier. We can't wait to give it to him!
