These are the gonggi I used to play with when I was little - perfect size, weight, even the colors. It brought back memories and I had fun playing and demonstrating for my girls. They are very happy with it and gonggi game became a hit! Highly recommend!

I bought these for my (American) students to try in my classroom. A few students - while practicing trying to catch them - accidentally bopped the gonggi against their table or the floor and the gonggi capsules popped open, spilling all the metal beads everywhere. (Also..... How are we sure these beads don't contain lead? 👀... I wonder....)It's a shame that they break open so easily. Besides accidentally hitting them too hard against a hard surface, you can also literally use your fingernails to separate the top from the bottom if you really want to. Why aren't they fused shut??I'm really bummed because these were otherwise very cute & reminded me of what my former Korean students played with in Korea.

My 4th graders loved this!! We use them during indoor recess or whenever we have a break. They loved learning about my culture.

If this doesn’t bring back childhood memories of the 90’s, I don’t know what else would. I grew up playing with these & now I get to share this with my kids, better than being on electronic devices all day!
