Ramset Powder Fastening Systems 1524SDP 3-inch Washered Pin are drive pins with washers to increase bearing surface against the material to be fastened. Ramset powder actuated fasteners are specifically fabricated to meet the exacting requirements of toughness and durability that enable them to penetrate dense concrete and structural quality steel. The metal washer is 16 gauge. A square washer indicates 3-inch pin has been installed. It comes 100 per box. Shank diameter = .145 Head diameter = .300

Have the 2 1/2 inch nail but wanted something a bit longer to hold more securely into the concrete. My old .22 gun puts in in the cement but not all the way with a #4 charge. Put another smaller charge in the gun and hit the same nail again and does the trick...sinks it all the way without buying a new gun that takes the red charge. Saved some cash. Love the 3” ones...just a tad more does the trick.

Work just fine. Just make sure you have the correct size load to set the 3 inch nails or they will not set all the way. The green loads .22 caliber work fine. Some of it depends on the gun you use also.
