I ordered the Lilyvane 65 Inch Garden Leaf Rake Set mainly for the rake. Most rakes purchased in the past came with light wood handles and over time those handles just break from exposure to the outdoor elements. This rake is advertised as heavy duty so I am hoping it will last a while longer than my other rakes. The Lilyvane 65 Inch Garden Leaf Rake does have to be assembled, but that is fairly simple, and the size of the rake can be adjusted in length by selecting the number of poles to add to the rake. I do not think I would consider this rake "heavy duty", but it is fairly rigid and works well on leaves and light lawn debris. The rake tines seem to be well constructed and do the job as expected. I did notice that after some extended use I had to retighten the handles, but maybe I did not tighten them sufficient the first time. I was hoping that the included leaf scoops and the bag would help with bagging the leaves, but those items did not work for me. I have a problem bending so I was unable to bend low enough to use the leaf scoops, but with my new rake, I can use both the old and new rake as scoops since I can use the rake handles to reach the leaves on the ground without bending. I also had a hard time keeping the bag standing to dump the leaves in, so I just went back to using an old large trash can to dump the leaves in.Although I did not find use for the leaf scoops and bag for raking and picking up leaves, I am sure I will find other uses for them around the yard. While the leaf scoops and leaf bag are nice add-ons, I am not sure that I would reorder this rake set for myself. But overall, I do feel the rake is of decent quality, and so far, has been holding up well for raking leaves and light yard debris.

The rake is really nice - good size for raking around plants and in flower beds. I found the leaf and debris bag pretty narrow, and it doesn't want to stay upright even empty. It having such a small top makes it difficult to get debris into the bag. For me, so far, the hand rakes are a waste of time. For me this costs too much for what you are getting - the rake is ok the other 2 items are not up to what I would find useful.

Our house has a ton of huge oak trees that shed their leaves every fall and raking is a constant way of life for us but this rake set has changed the game. What we love:The rake handle is extendable. My husband is 6'5 and I'm 5'2 so depending on who is doing the raking, we can adjust the height of this rake so that no one is hunched over or standing on tip toes. It's wide and strong. This gathers a ton of leaves with each pull which increases efficiency. The grabber tools. These are really what make this set so amazing. Instead of spending a ton of time bent over moving leaves from a pile into trash bags, the grabber tools allow me to move most of the pile in just a few scoops. The trash bag expander is also nice. We haven't had the best of luck getting bags to stay in it but it's a nice feature.Overall, this is fantastic and I'd recommend to anyone who spends time raking.

This rake was very simple to put together, just twist all the pieces that you want to use together. The rake attaches with one bolt and a screwdriver and wrench are included, as well as an extra bolt and screw.I have never used rake “hands”. I tried them on and they are snug, like they won’t fall off. It seems you would want to use gloves so the back of your hand will be protected from the plastic strap. While using the rake it came untwisted just once. I LOVED the length. Really great not having to bend over with reflux! :)The bag is a good size for filling and still being able to lift it! It has an extra handle near the bottom to assist in dumping. It was a little finicky to get the plastic band in the top that holds the bag open. Overall a good bag.

I’m five feet tall; this rake is way taller than I am. I wish I’d had it when we lived on the lake for grabbing things that were floating away— it’s got quite a reach! But it fits my husband well, and I can just remove a section or two until I’m happy with the length. So it’s an adjustable length rake in practice, which works well for us. This is a cool kit, really— the rake to rake your leaves, claws to pick them up, and the leaf bag to stuff them in. We’ve got snow on the ground right now, but next fall this will be put to good use. I don’t find it heavier than our traditional wooden handled rakes, and they’re not adjustable.

Okay, first of all this is a metal rake; not a flimsy plastic one. The tines and the rod are all metal. This rake is very tall if you use all of the rods. I am tall, so this is perfect for me. For a shorter rake, simply use fewer rod extensions. All the rods screw securely into the connecting rod. This also comes with plastic hand-held leaf scoops and a leaf bag. The powder coating on the rake is very attractive. The rake is lightweight for ease of use; however, the rake is heavy duty in use. This is an awesome rake; the best metal rake I've had so far.
