This is one of the toys I’m really glad I’m bought it’s got us talking about things in the sky like stars and rainbows and transitioning onto colors. It does have small pieces so I’d recommend 3+

I love Learning Resources products. This is a great toy for working on fine motor skills with the tweezers and fun shapes. My toddler likes to line the shapes up in order along each color. She's not interested in the cards and copying patterns yet but great to have that for the future. I love the cloud covers so the pieces stay together.

I work with kids as an OT. Frequently games have tongs that are too rigid. The tongs in this game/sorter are great for early elementary

We love the Learning Resources toys, they’re always good quality and educational. There are many different ways for children to play with this, and it comes with a sheet of suggestions. Great fine motor practice, while also learning color, shape, and sorting skills.

So many good ways to learn through play. The pieces are pretty small, that’s the only downside.

My 3 year old can hardly focus on anything, but his occupational therapist had this game and it kept his attention so well! Easy to use, although the pieces are also easy to lose… overall great value!

This game is awesome. I plan to use it at work, I am a school based occupational therapist and this game works on so many skills-fine and visual motor! For the price it is great and I plan to use it with my kids when they get a little older. Love the rainbow design too! Perfect size to throw in my bag too!

For some reason, instead of taking his stuffed wolf to bed, my 2 and a half year old asks for his rainbow before every nap and before bed each night since getting it. I’ll watch him on the monitor playing with it quietly in bed until he falls asleep…it’s so cute :)Yes we have lost a lot of the little pieces but I knew that would happen before I bought it. I’m constantly finding the pieces all over the house and whenever I do I’ll call out “oh look! A blue star” or whichever piece I find, and he comes running and gets so excited and that piece gets held for the rest of the day until either nap or bed time.Such a cute toy and I’ll be replacing this set once he’s old enough to use this for the recommend purpose.

Suitable for ages 3+, this is a very versatile play set from Learning Resources that also has great educational value. Rainbows are nothing if not colourful and this good looking 37 piece set is appealing to young children.Attractively boxed, this Rainbow Sorting Set would be very suitable for gifting. It's one of those toys that will grow with the child. They can start off simply by sorting the shapes - there are 30 of them - into the different coloured bands of the rainbow using the little yellow tongs supplied. This can help with fine motor skills and pattern but in very young children will also let them name the colours and as they get a little older they can count the individual pieces and use the activity cards.Either side of the rainbow shape there are cloud shaped compartments with lids which can be used to store the coloured counters, tongs and cards. As the build quality is good and it should prove robust, once a child's outgrown it, this toy could be handed down to younger siblings or passed on to friends with youngsters.
