The size was a bit larger than expected. I purchased this item for drip-tubing but this specific model is larger and only for fittings on funny pipe. It was my mistake as I didn't do much research.

Makes flaring Rain Bird 1/2 emitter line and inserting Rain Bird barbs effortless! This is not an essential tool, but I am definitely happy that ordered it.This tool appears to have multiple manufacturer part numbers and sources. Check alternatives before ordering as prices vary significantly ($4 - $13).

Makes inserting couplers into tubing less impossible. It still requires some effort, but is far easier than doing it without the tool.

This makes installation of fittings into 1/2" poly lines very simple and painless.Just keep in mind, that this tool was designed to work with Rain Bird fittings, and maynot work as well with other brands. Some fabrication will be in order, but it's worththe effort to save your hands.
