WiFi Connectivity

By simply plugging in a Rain Bird LNK WiFi Module (sold separately), users can access, operate and monitor their irrigation system from anywhere. Internet-based weather information is used to make daily adjustments to the irrigation schedule, saving up to 30% in water.

Flow Monitoring

Compatible with multiple sizes and makes of wired flow sensors for flow monitoring and notifications to save water and protect against property damage.

Bypass Rain Sensor by Station

Bypass the rain sensor for stations under an eave or deck or in a greenhouse for consistent watering.

Seasonal Adjust by Program

Save water by changing the seasonal adjust from 5% to 200% for corrected run times without changing the scheduled times.

One-Touch Watering

With the dial in the AUTO position, just press and hold the right arrow button to start manually watering the current program.

Contractor Default

Simply save a default program and if the original watering schedule is overwritten in error, easily restore it in just two steps.

Programming Recommendation

Rain Bird recommends that the maximum irrigation zone cycle time be less than the time required for runoff to begin and that there be adequate soak time before the next irrigation cycle of that same zone begins again.

I purchased this unit thinking that it comes w/ the WIFI module. Maybe it was my fault but when i received the package, there is a stamped writing on the box stating "Preinstalled Wifi Module". Now I have to go and buy it separately. Don't buy this product thinking you get a full WIFI controller. It's very misleading. Do better Amazon seller.

Bought this to replace an older, non-Wifi-ready Rainbird ESP-ME. I wanted the option to adjust home lawn watering while on vacation.There were some Rainbird technical bumps, but I figured those out myself.Works great so far!

The controller I bought was made a month before Rain bird started incorporating wifi in their controllers. So I bought this replacement hoping to just replace the faceplate and have an easy upgrade.... unfortunately it wasn't that easy as the pins and wires were different and I had to replace the whole box. Luckily that was exactly what was sent and replacement was straight forward if you are familiar with wires. (Take pictures of current setup)Wifi range is a little short. So I had to get a booster to get the rain bird to pick it up. But it works as expected.

Although the control panel looks like it was designed for myopic seniors, the unit is solidly built and has a long pedigree. Hookup was easy and instructions were fairly clear. I also ordered the WiFI module which, pleasantly, was flawlessly operational on first try, and a wired rain sensor which was simple to install but the instructions look like IKEA Cliffs Notes. FInding technical operational data on the website is difficult but the customer service hotline is very responsive and friendly. It would be nice to integrate into a Home Control System but the WiFi application works fine for me.

This was a replacement for another control panel that was malfunctioning. It was easy to install and set up and has worked perfect for us. I like the wifi option that allows me to adjust settings with my phone.
