Mounts easily on our wooden fence. The collection tube is long enough that rain won’t "bounce" from the top of the fence into the tube, so volume should be accurate.Looking forward to the rain we're expecting tomorrow!

Nice gauge, easy to read. I only gave it 4 stars because the plastic scratches when you take it in and out of the metal holder.

Had to paint bracket. As I was hand sanding to paint the middle bracket piece fell off. Without paint it will rush away in a few years. By design?
