Product Description

Rain Bird LNDDRIPKIT Drip Irrigation Landscape/Garden Watering Kit with Drippers, Micro-Bubblers, Micro-Sprays. This 108-piece Drip irrigation starter kit contains everything you’ll need to water a garden or landscaped area with up to 80% water savings. Drip irrigation also provides more consistent growth, better vegetable yields and resistance to disease. Simply run 1/2” tubing from an outside faucet to your planting area then connect drippers, micro-bubblers or micro-sprays using 1/4” tubing and fittings as needed. Attaches easily to an outside faucet or hose with included connections to regulate pressure, prevent back flow and filter sediment; the three essentials for a Drip system to operate properly. Includes drippers and 1/4” tubing for spot watering of individual plants; micro-sprays and bubblers for widely spaced plants. Patented, clog-resistant watering devices provide even, reliable watering with zero maintenance. Pressure-compensating technology ensures all plants receive the same amount of water regardless of their position along the tubing run. Professional-grade tubing features industry leading flexibility for tighter turns with fewer elbows providing fast, easy installation plus unmatched resistance to chemicals, algae growth and UV damage. Tubing's unique micro-porous construction expands over fittings then shrinks to create ultra-tight connections that are virtually impossible to remove without cutting. One-step patented Emitter Installation/Removal Tool speeds up insertion and removal of barbed fittings and drippers. System installation overview: connect 1/2” tubing to outside faucet or hose; run 1/2” tubing on top of soil to planting area; insert 1/4” tubing into side of 1/2” with 1/4” coupler; run 1/4” tubing the distance needed to water individual plants with a dripper or use a micro-bubbler or micro-spray for widely spaced plants; to hide tubing- cover with soil or mulch. To automate your system, add a Rain Bird 1ZEHTMR Hose-End Timer (sold separately). Each kit contains: (1) 25 psi pressure regulator, (1) backflow preventer, (1) 3/4” to 1/2” adapter, (1) roll 50’ x 1/2” x .700 ID tubing, (1) roll 50’ x 1/4” tubing, (2) 1/2” barbed couplings, (6) 1/2” barbed tees, (2) 1/2” barbed elbows, (2) 1/2” end closures, (10) galvanized metal stakes, (20) 1/4” barbed couplings, (2) 1/4” barbed tees, (2) 1/4” barbed elbows, (10) 1/4” tubing plugs, (20) 1/4” tubing stakes w/ bug caps, (10) 1.0 gallon-per-hour drippers, (10) 2.0 gallon-per-hour drippers, (2) 360° staked micro-bubblers, (2) 180° staked riser micro-sprays, (2) 360° staked riser micro-sprays, (1) emitter installation/removal tool, and complete instructions. I have used this all summer in my garden and my flowers. So I can honestly say this product works very well. It saves time and my plants did very well. I could water my garden and flowers at the same time while getting something else done. The assembly was easy.

This system went in easily and works well. Plenty of pieces to cover most needs. I was able to run it along three raised beds and supply tomatoes, basil, fennel and peppers without any issues.

I have been looking into drip irrigation for the perimeter of my house for awhile now. I was tired of getting the hose out each time and have to grab it out. My backyard is HUGE. I watched videos on YouTube and it all seemed so intimidating. I decided to just jump in and give it my best shot. I came across this set and I am so glad I did. It was so easy to assemble. The instructions don't exactly give you tons of info, but it was enough for me to understand. I also watched some videos online to help. I suggest doing that as well.I took out the pieces and planned it all out. Once I got out there and started, it all just came together so easily. Connecting the tubes and all the little pieces was so easy. The only issue I came across was every once in awhile I found a piece hard to push in, but I wouldn't say it's the products fault.I ended up not having all the pieces I need, but this company made it super easy to order more things I needed right from their storefront.Once I got it all together and turned on...everything worked as it should. I did have a few leaks (not the products fault, all mine) and I just used silicone to fix it. Im honestly shocked I was able to do this all on my own and how easy this kit made it. It's also very customizable so I feel like this could work in any garden.Tip that I learned: lay your tubing out in the sun for a little bit. This will make it easier to work with!

This is a great system if you are the type of person who loves designing and creating your own setup. It's sort of like the erector set for the adult gardner. This comes with a 6 outlet manifold and a stake otherwise I think the is a better deal. I purchased both and have used most of the material.I currently have two setupsThe first one is at the corner of the backyard fence where we have several plants (Rhodies, roses, and a new tree). Then about 30 feet down the two fence lines we have several new trees planted. I set the manifold just right of the corner plants. I have two lines that feed the trees running down the fence lines and two more lines that feed the different plants in the corner. It's well over 100 feet of running line because I had to use some of the tubing from the expansion kit. While I mainly use one or two emitters and different gallons per hour depending on size of plant I also used a couple of bubblers. I had to use a few emitters and Ts from the expansion kit as well. It will take a few waterings and testing just to see how well my design is working especially right now with record breaking heat. But that's what I love about this system - you can design and redesign anytime. The second run is for five new trees on about a 30 foot run. The expansion kit comes with a hose adapter that includes a screen. What I used the most was the tubing, of course, but also Ts and emitters. And I had just enough stakes but I will probably need to get more as I expand.Overall this is a great way to water your plants and save water/money during this hot season!

As always no product is for everyone. This worked for me. My knowledge about sprinklers : 6/10. I will admit I do like to be creative. It worked so well I'm converting another zone to a drip system. I didn't want to get it because I read you need to cap all other sprinklers in the zone upon installation. Yes, ALL other sprinklers in that zone not on a drip SHOULD be shut off. This makes sense since it releases very little water. You might drown plants not on drip or not give enough water for plants on the drip because the time was too short. Some people may suffer pressure issues. It's an irrigation system VERY customizable. I was a lego/K'nex child growing up so this was fun and easy for me. I have two potted ferns in my front yard that were a pain to water. I had a sprinkler nearby on a raised pvc pipe. I cut the pipe added a " T " attachment to the pipe. I reattached the raised sprinkler. There was now an free side of the " T " where I attached a short pipe and the ability to screw on the Drip sprinkler. (it points horizontally). From there I added the two drip lines. In my case I DID NOT turn off the other sprinklers. They all work great. Since that zone is on for about 20 minutes and again it's potted plants, they get just enough water yet are doing really well! It's so customizable! The Sprinkler will try to maintain 30psi at all times meaning you can try out bigger or different types of heads that are cheap and easy to find! This is a really simple one. My backyard zone will be using a bigger setup that essentially adds a giant hose that you poke your bubblers into.
