This solenoid (208588-01) is not made any more and Rainbird says to use the SRK series Rainbird solenoid.The seller shipped the SRK solenoid with a different part number. This worked, but I was charged a much higher price than just buying the SRK directly. Amazon should not list this separately. Bait and switch.proper part is Rain Bird SRKCP/CPF Replacement Solenoid for CP/DV/ASVF/DAS/JTV Series Valves

I have an older (2005) 6 valve 30 head system. Zone 3 stopped working early this Spring. A little troubleshooting pointed to a faulty solenoid. Being 18 years old I had trouble finding the proper solenoid until this one popped up on a search. Arrived well packaged and had it installed in 10 minutes. Has been working flawlessly ever since. Very pleased!

The only way this could be easier is if it jumped out of the box and installed itself. Make sure the sprinkler zone is off, remove the old one, install the one. Done in under 10 minutes.

Very nice that I didn't have to run to the store to look for this part. I'm not sure that the big box hardware stores have these. Anyway, I ordered the part and installed it easily. Now all my sprinkler zones are back in operation and my landscape is looking back to normal. The new part is has been working fine, it's been in operation for a couple months now.Thanks!!!
