No vent so its not usable on many other things unless its a snowmobile and the package came soaking wet left out in the rain the mail box was righ there ! we had to return it with out packageing as it was destroyed in the rain and the units bix was damaged too.. not a good time ! I wish I had photos .

This does not fit a 700 RMK Polaris. The item description should state that the cap diameter is 2.25 inches, not 2.5 inches as required by most of these machines.

Worked great the first day.Second time opening the cap to fill up the gasket won’t stay in anymore.Plus, after 3 weeks the float sinks to the bottom, even on a full tank.Not happy!

I’m glad I measured my tank, if I would’ve bought the one that suggested it would have not fit correctly. Make sure to have a measuring tape go down your tank before buying.

Bought this gas cap because description said it was for my make and model snowmobile. It does not fit way too small. So I go to return it and was told I have to drive the 130 miles round trip and drop it off at an ups facility. Then I have to pay $10 for a shipping label.. so to return a $22 gas cap that they sent the wrong one I have to spend $50 between shipping labels and gas. Do not buy anything from this company or you will get scammed

It works but this is the third time I replaced the gas gage because the plastic bubble pops off.If the company sealed it the gas gage would not need to be replaced. I put seal all around the edge of the new one so hopefully it will solve the problem of popping off in the future.
