So I literally bought this radio for my puppy lol I didn’t want to leave her at home in silence (while at work) but also didn’t want to have the tv on all day.It’s super cute -love the classic look, sound is crisp, very light weight, controls & buttons are easy to change. I like that you can charge it but it also has batterie option. Works very well & at a good price… glad I got it for my fur baby

I was looking for something I can use during an emergency black out so incase the tv and cell phones are off at least the family can have something to listen to. I can charge it or put batteries in it. I charge mine and leave it until there’s no electricity during a storm or can just listen to and relax with. The tune is clear and it comes with the wire antenna and surprising gets loud.

I gave this 5 stars because I was extremely surprised at the sound, function and clarity of this budget friendly radio. Of course there are more quality made, probably more durable choices. And put up against those, they would get the 5 stars and this one would be rated a bit lower. BUT. I am so impressed with how well this one performs, that in this price category, it is a 5 stars radio. You won't find a better radio for the money.

My mom is 77 she wanted an old radio she could work that's why I wanted this for her. Unbelievable all the nobs are child like plastic, Mom is OK with it she just wanted a radio she could understand but the quality is terrible cheap, and only works with C Batteries

the radio does work. It is very cheap plastic. The station dial on the side was broken due to damage of the box . Once you find a station that you like, leave it there. The on off is activated by the volume dial. Maybe it is still on but the volume is all the way down. I guess if you want an inexpensive radio this will do. It was short money and it does work, The internal battery needs to be charged with the USB charging cable for operation. Don't leave it out on a windy day or it may blow away. All in all not bad for a cheap radio.

Dial off several notches for example if you wanted to listen to 106.9 you had to be down near 94. Also there was no plug in for the wall and you had to stand there with your hand by the radio in order for the channels to come in clearly if you took your hand away then you lost your station. Definitely not worth the price paid.
