Pump holds pressure sometimes. Also radiator cap adapter used for testing radiator cap has a loose bulging O ring which gets in the way of connecting it properly.

Bought this hoping it would work well. Some reviews had complaints. It worked perfectly for finding the leak in my radiator!

This pressure tester kit DOES NOT fit anything as described. I have 4 GM trucks and one GM sedan, all with the same reservoir and there is nothing close. The Honda Accord radiator cap unit doesn't fit either, it's too loose to hold pressure. The blow molded case is mismarked as well. Basically the whole kit is a typical Chinese POS ! Don't bother trying to use the website, it's a spoof, a BS Chinese email account. All in all, it's a total waste of my time and yours. Thanks Amazon, good thing you're aware of the garbage your selling ! I will return this today.

Al momento de hacer la prueba la bomba no retiene la presión en el sistema y te puede mentir las medidas en el sistema

This test kit is the master of test kits. Fit's all types of radiator covers and also the plastic overflow container that is connected to the radiator. I pressure tested my 2004 F250 radiator and it held at 15psi like it should. Easy to use and material looks of high quality. Many different attachments for multiple types of vehicles. Perfect kit to rule out a worn out radiator or leak. Must have tool.

The ADAFIRST cooling system provides adapters for all the cars I need to test and many more. My old radiator tester no longer has any adapters available. This set is high quality, holds pressure (unless there is a cooling system leak) and looks to be very durable. My first use on a leaky cooling system pinpointed the problem. I was able to confirm the problem was resolved when I completed the repair. Good value in a quality tool.

I didn’t have high hopes for this since it was so cheap but it actually works pretty well so far! Fits every Chrysler car I’ve tried and holds pressure… I just don’t like this style of pressure relief valve. Definitely messier than the Mac and snap on ones I’ve used.

I received the kit yesterday.Everything in the kit looks to be well made and has a marked place in the blow-molded case.I put it to use immediately to test the integrity of the cooling systems of a Viper and Audi A4. The Viper had just had new head gaskets and a radiator installed, and the Audi all new hoses, radiator and a water pump. Both adapters I used fit perfectly and sealed very well. The hand pumps looks and feels very well made. It pressurized both systems easily and held a constant pressure as long as I wanted to look for leaks (I found none). Both cars had the work done, cooling systems refilled, checked, driven and rechecked, before the kit arrived, so at this point I was not expecting to find anything, but things like head gasket coolant leaks can be difficult to spot this way if it doesnt leak external to the engine. To be clear, I am an auto hobbiest, not a business and the cars are mine. In the past I would do work, refill the system, then spend days checking for leaks and coolant consumption. Now I can have a high degree of confidence in the work prior to first startup. The kit will probably only see limited use, but the 5 cars in our house are 10-30 years old, the extended family has another 4 of the same age, and in the future it will come out whenever maintenance that involves opening the cooling systems is performed to be sure it was correctly reassembled and sealed.
