  • Passive Direct Box with Eclipse ET-DB3 Transfmer
  • Stereo-to-mono Merge
  • 15dB Pad

Radial's high-performance StageBug SB-2 passive DI delivers warm, vintage-flavored direct sound from your bass, keyboard, or acoustic guitar. The StageBug SB-2 is equipped with a custom Eclipse ET-DB3 transformer that impedance-matches and balances your signal, and also helps eliminate buzz and hum due to ground loops. This ultra-compact direct box handles high input levels with natural compression, and it's also equipped with a 15dB pad for extra-hot signals from active bass pickups, digital pianos, and the like. The StageBug SB-2 is a mono device; input a stereo signal on TRS, and the unit's convenient stereo-to-mono merge function saves you from having to reset your source to mono. At Sweetwater, we're quite taken with Radial's little StageBug SB-2. We think you will be, too. Sits in my synth rack and solves its ground him issues. I own several other Radial products and the quality of this DI is on par with the rest.

The size is perfect for my pedalboard. Clean and compact. This box is the most durable object on my board. Plug and play.

Señores recibí el producto a fines de Diciembre, no han pasado ni siquiera 3 meses y el tornillo superior ya está oxidado , no me imagino como podría estar el interior.A quien debo hacer el reclamo .

Have been using a Behringer DI a number of times recently, mainly for the monitoring of my Stagepiano and I find the sound has improved a lot since using the Radial. Given I’m also a bass player, this is the perfect DI box, as it is for Bass and Keyboards.

First impressions: I’m using this “off label” to send my stereo steel pan pickups to my mixer, and it couldn’t have been easier to setup. Sound quality is clean, undistorted. Quality of materials is high, very solid feel to it. Lightweight.I haven’t used it live yet - just in a practice session. I have also not had opportunity (or need) to use the ground lift. Based on the initial quality, I don’t anticipate problems.

Returned it because the significant signal level drop - a general issue of a passive DI, I guess.

Radial will tell you that the JDI is their premium direct boxes, and rightfully so. The Jensen transformers are the industry standard for use in direct boxes. But do you really need that quality for your gigs? I play in a cover band and have the need for numerous di boxes for pianos/ electric drum pads/ and bass and I just can't believe that the audience has any idea or interest in the fact that we're not using the JDI's. At the end of the day: these are perfectly sufficient. They help clean up the line noise and I'm very pleased them.
