Simple assembly that took15 minutes. I do see why other reviews complain about the flex of the rack from back to front. However, I don’t think it really matters. In my installation, my ceilings are almost 10 feet. So this worked out great. I did add a piece of trex decking material placed between the 2 bottom adjusters/base and the carpet.

I was skeptical at first due to the cost, but once I got it assembled, I was really impressed. The documentation was first class, all parts were labeled, and nothing was missing. I plan on putting two tandems on it - road bike on top for positioning purposes. With the tandem I have on the bottom in the picture, notice how the rack adapted to the "odd" frame. Rack arms are coated so they don't scratch paint. Would be an awesome upgrade if they added a couple more arms to hang helmets, jackets, etc from.

This bike stand is a great purchase. When you open the box the metal that it is made of doesn't appear to great. When you get the stand together and instead, which is very easy, it looks and works great. It is easily adjustable for all bikes. I have a very small 2 car garage and this was the perfect answere for our bike storage. Easy to use and looks great.

Was a bit difficult with the directions but common sense prevailed.Parts are a bit tricky to attach. Just take your time.BUT very impressed with the quality and sturdiness. It’s looks so clean. My space wasn’t best suited so we hung a bike on each side instead and I’m so happy with it.

Bought this to mount my bike in my garage and it does the job fine and actually looks pretty good. However even when fully tightened, the small center piece that holds the two larger front pieces together doesn't do an amazing job and keeping them from wobbling. Kind of annoying but not enough that using it becomes a nuisance. The instructions aren't great but it's easy enough to assemble so I guess that's alright. Overall, I think it's good for its price but definitely not perfect. I would recommend this mount with the caveats mentioned above.

I have attempted to assemble this three separate times after losing patience. The screws are not the right size and it is very flimsy. I am unable to use this and unable to return since it took so stinking long to assemble. Do not buy this product. He will be disappointed.

As noted, this is a bit of a pain to install, but overall pretty easy. Far more painless then installing something into the wall. it's well designed and easy to install once it's all put together. Despite being made of aluminum, it actually seems quite secure, although I'd still be gentle with it to be safe. The biggest pro for me is that you can install a bike vertically. I saw some doing it by the wheel. but mine also fit using the seat tube.

This isn't industrial or commercial quality by any means, but this stand is really inexpensive and fairly well designed. I can see other people having a difficult time setting it up, I got frustrated at one point but now that it's up I'm pretty happy with my purchase. If it were more expensive I think I would feel less than enthused, but I think I got a lot for my money. The stand looks great with its anodized extruded aluminum pieces and works perfectly.

I bought this same bike rack YEARS ago. Not sure if it was the same company as now, but I really liked it then and I love it now.I had been searching for years for good vertical bike storage solutions as I don't have room anywhere for a horizontal storage option.Saw one other reviewer said they used it this way so I gave it a shot. SO HAPPY I DID!My one suggestion: don't assemble while listening to music or especially wearing headphones!! I did this and didn't hear the drywall in my ceiling crunching under the torque when I tightened it for the final tighten. It's ultimately ok as there is a support beam under it, so it just put a crack and indent in the ceiling, but if you didn't have a support beam or stud under that pressure, I imagine it would push right through the ceiling. It's definitely going to be a project to fix that someday, but I own my home and plan on this being here for a long time. If you rent though, or are trying different spots out for it, that damage to the ceiling could be significant!Apart from that, which is no reflection on the product, just my not realizing that could be an outcome of tightening it so strongly, the product is great. Looks sharp, does what it is meant to.And all you folks looking for ways to store vertically...this is it! I saw a post where the customer set up the hooks for the tire. I didn't feel like that was safe for my bike, as it was near impossible to get the hanging brackets set to a point where it wouldn't strain the spokes. So I put mine lower to grab the back frame bar. I feel much better doing this as that is a much stronger contact point, it isn't pulling on a front tire/fork or tweaking/potentially breaking spokes. Also as the back tire is locked into the frame, unlike the front tire, it's not going to twist as you lift it or as it's resting there.Good luck!

This rack went together quickly and easily. They aren't very stable unless you put them against the wall, and even then they aren't really stable. What I did to cure this (because I bought two) is I built an inexpensive bracket that tied two together so they could stabilizeoff of each other. In the end, I still had 4 bikes to store. It's a lot more stable, and gives me no notion that it will fall over.I will say that upon initial assembly, one of the bolts stripped out. They are really low quality bolts. But since I had to go to Home Depotto get the parts to make the bracket, I just picked up a replacement bolt.
