Your cart is empty. The RackGold Cage nuts snap into square hole rack rails, giving you various threading options such as 10-32, 12-24, M5 or M6. Dell servers typically use 10-32 style threading, Compaq most often use M6 threads. Most telco 2-post relay racks use 12-24 threads. The nut is housed within a 3/8 inch spring metal body. When each side tab on the body is compressed, the nut can be inserted into the square hole in the rack rail. Most often used for mounting of servers, rack shelves, switches, routers, and other networking, electronic and data equipment. Mfr # G1224-SNP-B25

The nuts and bolts look and feel aged. They have a black dusted coating as if they were exposed to moisture. The rack nuts are extremely difficult to snap into place without a tool to force them in. Very disappointing.

They work fine, only complaints:The package is mislabeled: The part number says "G1224-SNP-B25" which looks like the contents are 12-24 nuts, quantity 25, but the description says "10-32 Cage Nuts" which is wrong. I ordered 12-24 and got 12-24, so no complaint there, but I had a panic when I realized they might be the wrong thing and I'd already distributed them to several people. The other "complaint": why 25 in a pack? These are only ever used in fours or eights, *maybe* twos if you're being cheap and know what you're doing. There's going to be one left over in every pack, guaranteed.
