I really like this window tint. And crazy as it seems. My dog has not roped it. A shade will last till I forget to draw it and leave the house. Ci put it up about 2 weeks now. I followed directions and it looks good. PRIVACY IS THE BEST. The truth will tell when it is 116 outside.

Unless you live out in the country somewhere, and even if you do, you probably have windows that face either the street, or the neighbors, in such a way that people can look straight in. Even when I'm not doing anything in particular, I don't want all and sundry being able to glance in and get a full view of me and what's going on in my house. On top of that, there are certain windows where the sun BEATS in at certain times of day and makes the room uncomfortably hot, even in mid-winter. This film solves both of those issues.I cut a piece to fit, and followed the instructions. Clean the window, leave it wet, peel off the backing from the film, and apply it to the window. With the water on the window, the film can be moved around until it's in exactly the right position. Then you just leave it alone. From the outside, it looks like a mirror. From the inside, you still get an undiminished view out, but the glare is cut tremendously. Makes your hot, unusable room usable again.One thing that they warn you about in the instructions, and kind of goes without saying, is that it is still possible to see through this film from the outside, if the light inside your house is brighter than the light outside. So, for example, at night, when you have lights on inside, the inside of your house is almost as visible as it was without the film. Still, this film dampens down that visibility quite a bit and provides a bit more privacy than you had before. I recommend highly!

Bought this for the emergency window on our camper than really heats up because it doesn’t open. It is on and seems to stick well, but boy it was difficult to push out all the air bubbles. I seem to still have spots at the bottom of the window that you can see from the outside but looking at that same spot on the inside you can’t see them. The piece went on quickly, but then I spent about an hour with a credit card pushing air bubbles out. You had to keep going over the same spot over and over. You’d get it done and move onto another spot and you’d look back in a while to see bubbles again. Not as many or as big, but still bubbled. I wouldn’t want to use this on my house windows. Some day I might put this on a couple other smaller windows that usually face the sun where we camp. Also, I took a picture of my roll-it didn’t have the cutting grid that other reviewers liked.

I have a living room that faces the road as well as my neighbor’s house and it felt like a cave because my curtains are always drawn. I don’t m want my neighbors to see me in my boxers on my couch so I rarely opened the curtains. These window clings were a nice solution to let in the light and still allow me to be a naked couch potato.Easy installation for the most part. Make sure you have sharp boxcutters or use scissors for a clean cut. Cut it slightly oversized (by maybe a half inch on each side). Clean the window with Windex first. Then spray the window liberally with water. Pull the entire plastic backing off the window cling and then place the cling on the window. Smooth out the bubbles with a credit card or a ruler, and trim off the excess.Now here’s the trick to get the edges flat without curling up (because it comes rolled up, the cling can curl up or bubble on the edges). Use a hair dryer on the hottest setting and blow the edges flat (pressing it down as you go along). This will ensure the edges lay flat on the window.The cling is textured on one side, so it doesn’t feel or look cheap. Gives a nice diamond reflective look to the windows. I’m still torn between it looking pretty cool, and also a little tacky. It works though!Allows a great amount of shimmering light into my living room, gives me my privacy, and allows me to keep my windows unblocked.The only thing is that it IS see-thru if you get very close to it and look through the diamond patterns (see photos). But you need to be right up against the window for this, and if someone is that close - you probably should call the cops by that point, because you will definitely notice them.Overall this was a good purchase in my opinion. Did everything I needed it to, privacy and light, and it doesn’t look too shabby.

Today I installed the window film on my entry doors. They were totally see though and we wanted privacy. This film works as advertised! It went on fine and was easy to install. A couple tricks I used to make it easier. Really deep clean the windows first. If you get a dirt speck while working you can peel the film back and remove it but it’s best to have a super clean window to start. Peeling the film from the backing is tough. I used a small piece of tape in the corner of my cut piece and that allowed me to peel the film from the clear layer. I used a bottle with water and dish soap in it and sprayed the glass and the film so that I could work with it. Once I had the film cut and soapy water on the glass inlaid the film against the glass and positioned it how I wanted it. I then used a firm plastic squeegee to push the water out of the film. Once I had the water out I cut the film using a new razor blade to trim away the excess. Once the film began to set and all water bubbles were out I sprayed a small amount of glass cleaner on the film to clean it up. Now I’ll let it fully dry and cure in the sun. In the meantime it looks great and definitely provides the privacy we needed.

When they say it is easy to install - boy, is it ever!!! It's wonderful and thick and the way the light comes through it at night makes my window look like diamonds. It's completely blocking any view so it's perfect for the bathroom and now we don't have to deal with cats destroying mini-blinds anymore when they launch themselves at the window! Brilliant product. I wish I had more windows just so I could put more up. I'm glad I bought a big roll because I will definitely use this in future homes - and because it doesn't glue or anything, you can apply it in a rental home and it's not damaging anything.SUPER PRODUCT - will recommend and definitely buy again - just need more windows! ;)

Finalmente ho ovviato al problema di non avere il vetro smerigliato in bagno: ero costretta a tenere una tenda scura, per evitare che col buio fuori si vedesse all’interno della stanza. La pellicola è semplice da attaccare, seguendo alla lettera le istruzioni, e aderisce al vetro davvero bene, è difficile da staccare nonostante non sia adesiva. Per finestre di grandi dimensioni (la mia 90x90) consiglio di procedere in due persone.Efficace e bellissima da vedere, la consiglio!
