Solid pads, comparable to koolstop but more affordable. Easy to install and good for coming to full and complete powerful stops. They've held up well so far on my road bike.

These are indistinguishable from the Shimano pads I had in my 2004 ultegra-equipped bike. The old ones slid right out, and these slid right in. They come with the screws needed to fix them in place as well. A couple things about what I received: The package included a nice microfiber cloth I didn't expect, but always nice to have. And, they sent out twice as many brake pads as I expected - two boxes, each of which has 4 pads in it. So, I have enough for two bikes.

These brake pads are high-quality and fit seamlessly into Shimano-style cartridge holders, making them a reliable replacement for worn-out pads. Installation is straightforward, and the set includes enough pads to outfit one bike twice or two bikes once, which adds to the value. The pads perform well in various conditions, including rain, providing consistent stopping power. While the price is slightly higher, the inclusion of two full sets and a microfiber towel makes it a fair deal. The packaging differs from traditional Shimano packs but doesn't appear to affect performance. Overall, these are dependable and effective brake pads for road bikes.

Used these to replace badly worn pads when restoring my Trek One-series road bike. These are cartridge pads and fit perfectly into the Jagwire holders that were on that bike. Should work with any Shimano or aftermarket Shimano-style caliper with cartridge pads. When installing, don't forget to install the little screw. It keeps the pads from backing out. Though these pads fit very tightly into the holders, so I'm not sure if that is really a concern.

There's not a whole lot to say about these, other than they just work and are the OEM brake pads. As long as your ensure you have the right brake type these just slide right in. This type of brake pad in my opinion is on the very easy to side replace yourself and save some money from having the bike shop do it for you. They come in the Shimano box, with Shimano labeling on backside, so they seem like legitimate OEM brake pads; nice to have two full kits (replace front and back on either two bikes, or same bike twice). The microfiber towel is a nice little bonus as well. Recommend without hesitation.

I do wish it was included in the listing that these are replacement brake pads for carbon rim wheels. However, these are the same shoes I’ve been using on my bike and they work great. You actually get two sets of 4 with these. My only question is the packaging (in a cardboard box vs a plastic snap together container that all my prior sets have come in) does give me pause. Will try these out and if they don’t last the same way I’ll come back and revise my review.
