I have other displays like this one, but larger, and they came from a different site and without the protective peel, which wasn't necessary. I bought two of this smaller version, just to see how difficult it would be to remove the protective peel before I buy anything larger. Removing the peel on both sides of the display plates is a chore, but it's not difficult, just get the tip a knife under the edge and it lifts up easily enough. Tho the protective peel is not necessary, as I said, other sellers on other sites do not use it and I've never had acrylic scratched in transit. You'll sell more of these if you get rid of that chore. They're sturdy and handy, and tho I dislike the peeling, I'll buy more.

You know those reviewers who said this it was "too small" or "smaller than expected" . . . well, it's pretty obvious those people didn't look at the dimensions which are clearly posted in the Amazon listing. (One photo, in particular, lists everything -- and also see the pic that shows a hand holding the product to get an idea of the relative size.) And you know those reviews that pointed out all the flaws in the discs that were supposed to be perfect and clear . . . well, it's perfectly clear those people didn't use a fingernail to gently peel back the protective film, revealing flawlessly clear discs. I absolutely love this product and truly am wowed by the level of quality for the reasonable price. Yes, at first, the metal rods seemed difficult to insert, but I simply placed one disc on my hard coffee table, and -- with a thimble on my thumb -- pressed down on the rod to get it into the hole. Then, when I placed another disc on top, pressing down on the second disc further secured the metal pin. So trust me, you'll end up with a beautiful display stand -- as long as you can display just a little intelligence during purchase and assembly.

Small and well balanced, affordable enough that I can buy several and use them in place of larger stands.I needed something small and nondescript to use in my diorama displays I was making, especially for my Nesting Dolls so that I could display them easily together. But they also fit perfectly underneath 2 wooden Lowes build and grow models.These are perfect for displaying very small collectibles like buttons, keychains, and pins, which usually get lost in the clutter of a display cabinet, and let's you choose a more dynamic organization than the stair style shelves. They are light weight but a good quality acrylic for the price, complete clear, and adjustable to space out and crowd close depending on your display.

These display riser stands stack the leprechaun figurines and maximize our counter space. Very easy to assemble. I will say that the box was EXTREMELY hard to open. Other than that, I give this item 10+

These are just perfect for displaying little knickknacks! I'm using them to display my grandmother's thimble collection. I can fit 2-3 thimbles on a shelf, depending on the size. Taking off one start for the really annoying plastic coverings on each of the acrylic shelves that took way too long to take off, even with long nails.

The product was poorly constructed and presented. The online advertisement intimated it was small not miniature. Very disappointed. The product belonged in the rubbish bin and that’s where it ended up. Would not do business with this business again.

I got the clear stands. When you pull them out of the package, they are a murky, translucent white like some of the other reviews mentioned. This is because there is a protective plastic film that is meant to be removed. It was honestly very hard to get off, and it took me a while to get the hang of finding a good spot to start peeling. I almost gave up on them because the first two disks I tried I couldn't get going for a while. Once that's peeled off, though, they're beautiful! My only other complaint is that the metal rods are a bit hard to push into the holes at the right angle and to the right depth. Once you get them in they're pretty sturdy, so if you find you have one that is wobbly, try to push the disks in farther.
