These do the job, but they are not a tight fit. Not sure if they are supposed to be loose or it’s just the nature of this particular type of fastener. They are solidly made. I gave these 5 stars because even though they are loose, the package includes screws!

The only reason I didn't giveit 5 stars is that Inow have to go buy the screws that attach it to the panel. These screws would have cost the manufacturer pennies but will cost me a few dollars and a trip to the store.

I'm using these tnuts as fender washers to mount casters to a shelf unit not designed for casters. The shelf is held down well with no flex, bending or breaking from the tnuts. The threads are clean and complete, they function perfectly, hold well beyond my expectations and have been easy to use.Getting 25 for $15 is a fantastic value.

Drill a half inch hole for the center and if you want to imbed it, use a 1-7/16" forstner bit for a perfect fit. Seems fairly thick, so it will work perfectly to make custom wooden knobs with.

I am using the nut to create a drill-powered caulking gun that I found on Instructables. The nut worked fantastically well for that purpose. The only problem I had was screwing the nut to the gun, but that was more a problem of the gun's tight confines than the nut. Overall, really great for my purpose.

Used this Qwork cadium plated Iron Plate Nut with threaded rod and nuts to brace the middle of long kitchen shelves. Plate on bottom of one shelf, plate under shelf above. Nuts between on threaded rod. Use nuts to lock things things in place. Iron plates are well machined and smooth. No rough edges. Threads are clean cut. No slop. Well made. This are clean enough to be used where could be clearly visable. Appear to be strong enough, if mounted sideways, could support a reasonable amount of weight. Arrived wrapped on tray, wrapped in plastic. Very compact package. Easy to count, all 12 arrived. A real bargain. Are sturdy metal, not plastic nor pig metal.
