I used it for a suction hose for my sandblasting cabinet would have worked better if it would flex more but made it work

I had an unusual project, adding a UV light to a water fountain. I needed flexible hose that was rigid enough to not collapse with a tight bend or in the heat of our backyard. This PVC tubing was the right length, the right price with overnight delivery. Problem solved, project finished. Thank you

Holds firm, no suction loss on a shop vac. If anything, massive improvement over original plastic hose. Hose is a bit stiff but it should straighten over time

The 1.25" ID hose actually measures 1.28-1.30" ID. With the spiral wire I'm not confident it will clamp down and seal; and that's why 3 stars and why I'm sending it back.Also, others have mentioned, this hose STINKS. Really strong smell. As such I would not use it in a confined living space (indoors, in an RV), nor for potable water. To be fair, it does not claim to be for potable water, but most PVC hose is good for that. I was going to use it for my RV fresh tank fill hose, but will not for both reasons above. There is a reviewer who used it for that (either this listing or another nearly identical listing), he was happy, I guess he didn't mind the odor.On the plus side, it is sturdy, flexible for its size, and the spiral wire keeps it nice and round. It would make a great hose for applications requiring those traits as long as you don't have to smell it, and assuming it clamps down adequately.
