Solid Jig. Super easy to adjust and is stable when tightened. Going on two years with mine and still works great.

Installing cabinet door handles exactly 1/8" off on 6" handles, 3/16" off on 9" handles. This looked like a versatile template for a perfect install? Not! Had 3 handles drilled surprised when I realized the problem. Bought it 4 months ago anticipating using the device for new cabinet handles and pulls, so no option to return. $300 worth of damage replacing 3 drawer fronts and repainting + cost of a crappy product...don't waste your money, its a POS!

I am new to cabinet drilling jigs as a tool, but I wish I'd had one sooner! If you do even one noteworthy cabinet installation job, then you NEED to purchase a tool like this. I didn't find it too difficult to set up the pieces of this jig. With some patient thought, it is intuitive to use. With this particular unit, I think there is one substantial design flaw that may be why some people think it arrived bent. The "T" piece (on the right side in my photo) only has one locking screw, and it is not centered. I wish there were two screws, or one centered screw, because the single off center screw tends to push the piece to a slight angle when you tighten it. I found that I had to measure the gaps on occasion to be sure this wasn't happening. When I noticed the issue, I was already a few handles in and looked back to realize the others were slightly, but noticeably off. Fortunately it wasn't a bit deal to update the holes with the jig properly positioned, and it didn't force me to drill extra holes. If you are a careful weekend warrior, then I think this jig will be a great low-cost option for you. If you're a pro, then I think you should consider investing more money in a design that will be more reliable and consistent for you without having to waste precious jobsite time triple-checking to be sure it's still aligned properly.

Last time I put cabinets into a kitchen, I drilled all the holes for the pulls by hand: measuring each hole, etc. This time I decided to buy a jig for it. I'm a bit frugal, so I was reluctant to buy it, but this tool saves so much time, it was worth it!I had to install about 25 pulls, and it went really fast. The quality of the jig is great ... very sturdy, and easy to use. It even comes with a carrying case. Both metric and US/Imperial lengths are on the tool. One warning: there are three Drill holes on the tool: for a typical pull, you want to use drill thru two of the holes. The third hole is on the "end stop" ... make sure you don't drill thru that one!Highly recommended!!!

This jig is freaking awesome! I installed over 75 knobs, cup pulls and handles on oak cabinets of various sizes. Once you set it for the measurements you want, just hold it in place and drill. Repeatable, accurate holes, every time. One suggestion: after you set it up, test it on a piece of scrap wood to make sure the distance between screws is exactly where you need them. A couple of millimeters off and you're going to have to widen the holes, which you want to avoid. Once it's set, just drill all your cabinet holes and enjoy! As to lack of instructions, it's not that hard to figure out. If you're somewhat handy, you can use this tool effectively.

Decent unit, the screws that lock it in place striped out after 3rd adjustment! So could have a little more quality put into it!

Fantastic! I am so glad that I got this to help me drill holes and install pulls and handles on cabinets. I always worry about drilling hole on expensive cabinets that I just installed and putting them in the wrong place. You don’t get a second chance on something like that and a mistake would be ugly or expensive to repair. I compared different positioning gauges on Amazon and chose this one. Compact and practical carrying case, split into small parts and easy to assemble, available in cm and inch sizes. Although the plastic tool is lighter, I think the aluminum alloy is more durable. According to the instructions on the webpage, I quickly assembled it, and installed a whole kitchen in minutes that all the handles were quickly and evenly placed on the cabinets. I have to say that this tool is worth every penny for pro's and amateurs alike!

I would not have been able to do 88 five inch handles the job without this jig! My wife picked a 5" handle for all of the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen, and 3 baths! I was really concerned about getting all of them even and straight. I can't express enough how easy this jig was to use. Set it once, and do all of the doors - left and right just by turning the symmetrical jig. Set it again and do all of the same width/depth drawers, and so on. Here's a tip. Instead of measuring the distance of the handle and trying to set the jig: Do this: 1) loosen left/right of the jig, 2) use the screws and handle to set the jig spacing, put screws through jig holes, 3) screw them in to the handle through the jig, 4) center the handle on zero, 5) tighten the jig. You are 100% guaranteed that the spaging is right because you used the screws and actual handle holes to set the distance. My dad (a retired engineer who has built things privately and professionally his whole life) was very impressed with this tool. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you get one of these. I totally recommend. (PS the 24 handles in the picture are chrome - so some look silver, some look black because of reflection. Personally, I would have gone with stainless or brushed nickel, but I'd like to remain happily married. So, I kept my mouth shut and said, chrome it is! - You know... happy wife, happy life!) :)
