I wasn't sure what to expect here. I was hoping for a portable, easy, handheld way to sew little rips and hems. Well this, at least at first, is not that. This is a cute crafting tool, and I guess if you want to put price tags on things and glow in the dark buttons. The tool works OK (thought they really should provide instructions!) and a cheap little pouch or case maybe. The "tagging" gun is really best for tacking a price tag that dangles or tacking a hem in an emergency but not for any length of time. So, as a tool that can help a little with quick sewing mishaps - not really, not exactly. I ordered, separately a set of fasteners that were much smaller (so i could really tack fabiric and have it hold. This works OK. So, if you already know what a "micro stitch gun" is supposed to do, then this is a economical, quality kit. If you don't - heed the advice here - and make sure this is really what you want.

I found that this needle poked too big of a hole in some fabrics to be effective. When it did work, it left a gap between the two pieces of fabric in the new hem. You could see the little plastic fasteners if you look close.I would say that this works for a quick, temporary fix. But I would not use this tool as replacement sewing technique. It's basically one of those tagging guns they use at stores to attach price tags to T-shirts. You're basically stapling fabric together with a little plastic tag.Technically, this product is easy enough for anyone to use. I just don't think anyone should. I would encourage you to get a $5 mini sewing kit, watch a YouTube video and learn some simple stitching techniques. Quick stitching by hand is nowhere near scary as it seems and far less frustrating than a useless product like this.
