The mattress cover arrived quickly and does indeed fit an 18" mattress. The yet top prevents the sheets from slipping. Durability and protection against wetness yet to be determined.

We actually use this mattress ( and cover ) for our 85 lb Doberman that is petrified to sleep alone ,yes you've read that correctly this big mean looking dog needs a constant companion ,he usually don't destroy things or have accidents but he is a dog and he does like to chew his bones so we had to protect the mattress and this works great ,we clean it often and it's durable and well worth the investment if you want to preserve your mattress

Shipping was fast, we live in rural area that normally adds a day or more to shipping times. Nice to recieve quickly. The product fit perfectly on our bed and goes on easily, just like a fitted sheet. No funny smells and seems like it's made of decent material. Soft to the touch Have not put it to test yet to see how well it stays in place, may add more later.

Bought this mattress cover to protect a bed at our rental home. It seems to be good quality, quiet, white (so no pattern seen through white sheets), and easy to put on the bed. In case there are any spills on the mattress or sweaty sleepers, I have peace of mind that the mattress itself is protected. Haven't tried to wash the protective cover yet, but believe this will wash and dry well on a delicate cycle.

I purchased this mattress protector for our new bed because my hubs sweats in his sleep and it stained our last mattress. I washed and dried it last night and put it on our new bed and lo and behold, it works! I checked the mattress where he sleeps and it was completely dry but the pad was damp where it absorbed his sweat. The pad goes on easily and tight, it's not bulky at all and is very soft after washing and drying it. The terry cloth type material washed up beautifully, in fact so well I have another one on the way for the new mattress in our spare bedroom before anyone sleeps on it. I will take this off weekly as I do our sheets and wash so it stays as fresh as possible. I find this mattress protector more than worth the price I paid for it and will order again as needed. Our mattress is 16 inches deep, and this does have room for a couple more inches deep so would fit an 18-inch mattress easily.

: I wouldn’t be an honest person if I didn’t edit my review so later in the day as I’m cleaning and washing the bedding I noticed that I did a review on the wrong bedding and I did it on an old one we had and I wanted to come back and edit this to let you guys know that this is in fact a very good quality mattress protector that was my fault. Nobody had to reach out to me to get me to edit this. I’m simply sitting at home realizing while folding my laundry that it wasn’t even the same one I bought that he peed on. So if you are looking to get this, I would definitely give it a try. I’ll be changing my review to five stars because it deserves that.Last night, my son went to bed and when I woke up at 4 AM I figured oh no problem because I have the mattress protector on, (when he wet the bed on accident) so there should be no issue with my mattress being wet. No my mattress was completely soaked. This mattress protector is useless if you’re getting it to protect your mattress from any kind of liquid that could be spilled on it. Save your money. I’m kind of upset and I would really like my money back but I’m sure I’m far from the return window. . This is now useless to me and I have to go buy another cover that actually works. Hopefully my review will help other people as we are made of money and things are not cheap nowadays.

I ordered this mattress protector upon recommendation of an area TV personality who publicizes good deals. The price was very attractive, so I placed the order. I wish I'd taken a pic of what the product looked like when it arrived - it was rolled up super tight and completely bound in clear packing tape (it looked like a giant tampon). It took some effort to get the mattress protector out of the tape, and when we did we found a small hole in the protector, so it's not going to be completely waterproof because of that damage. I can't be sure, but it looks like it had been "repackaged" in the packing tape, which stuck to the actual protector and pulled a hole in it. I decided to keep it anyway, since it was cheap. The protector fit my bed perfectly, and stays in place. It is on the thin side, so if you're looking for something with some "fluff," this is not the product for you. The part you sleep on has a very low pile terry-ish feel, backed by a vinyl/plastic packing (this is what got torn). I wouldn't say it's "noiseless" as advertised, but it's not terribly crinkly either. Bottom line, I ordered a cheap product and that's what I got. It's sufficient as a backup item, or maybe in a guest room, but splurge a little for your own bed and go with something better.
