Simple basic step

Very solid step that fits into your 2" hitch. There are 4 hitch pin holes that allow you to fit it closer to the truck for travel etc, then extend it for use.It does rattle somewhat in the hitch so I used a hitch tightener to ensure a solid step with no wobble.I like that the step is compact, the ends are closed off, and there is some non slip pattern on the step. This is not very prominent however and muddy boots may not get much benefit from it.I have this on my Ford Transit E350. Its still a good step up to it but allows one to maintain a better balance getting into the back. ( A lower step would be better for me but then that could drag when going over sharp dips like drains and at parking lot entrances).

The step is heavier than I was expecting. The welding on it is just ok, but it has multiple drain holes to let out any water that gets into the inside of the tubing. The paint on the top of the diamond plate step is very thin in places, and will most definitely rust. I plan on spraying more black paint on it before I use it.

Fits 2 inch receiver. Works fine. Will need some type of sleeve to keep it from rattling.
