Paper was thick, holds up well when traveling, and cheap. The little metal nubs break off eventually, but even they hold up better than most of the clasp envelopes.

Perfect! I mistakenly ordered a package of 30 envelopes for virtually the same price as this offer for 100 envelopes but Amazon kindly refunded me the price and I reordered these. Very, VERY happy camper here. You cannot go wrong for the money. Every week I mail the newspaper comics and crossword puzzle from the daily print newspaper to my 91 year old mom who decided the daily paper is beyond her budget (it isn't...) and this offer is a great budget purchase.

These are great envelopes. They are much sturdier than normal clasp envelopes. This strength is my biggest weakness when it comes to using them because I mostly use them to ship things out. Due to the heavier material and better craftsmanship, the envelopes weight about 2 to 3 tenths of an ounce more than "normal" clasp envelopes. I didn't take any stars because it is not a knock on the product but if you are using these to ship items, be aware they are a few tenths of a ounce heavier which can alter your shipping cost if you go over to the next full ounce.
