This call is designed to create a Wood Duck sitting on the water or perched on a downed limb feeding and relaxed. The sitting Wood Duck sounds are the best calls to use while trying to lure Woody’s to your position. This call will also reproduce the drake wheeze, flying squeal and alarm squeal of all Wood Ducks. This call has a flexible rubber tube barrel to add realism to your calling. Leave the barrel wide open and you will get maximum sound distance. The more you mash the barrel down the quieter the call will be for that close in work while Woody’s are flying over head or sitting on the water near you.

Used it for the first time this morning worked like a champ hailing woodies, then it just stopped working and wouldn't work Everytime I tried using it, don't know if a bad reed or what but 3 stars for being a good call when it did work lol

Literally first hunt it fell apart. Internals were extremely simple. Rubber grommet that holds the metal reed assembly centered in the call is too small in outer diameter to fit tightly in the call and internal diameter of rubber grommet too large to hold the reed assembly.Hate sending stuff back so I am gonna try to epoxy this together, but very disappointed in the construction of this call. Had I not been in a location where i could find the guts once they fell out, this call would be worthless in less than 24hrs from opening the package.

Quaker boy is by FAR the BEST and most accurate sounding woody call out there! We’ve tried quite and few and every call from these are spot on and so easy to use! Great call for anyone on any experience level! Even the kids can use them!

Practice makes perfect! It takes a little practice to get the hang of consistent sounds, but once you hear it and feel it it's on. I can mimic realistic sounds that wood ducks make on the water. Soft drake wheezing whistles, rapid chattering, it produces great sounds. I love it, have a couple spares in the gun cabinet, you never know! Get you one, you won't regret it.

This not what is advertised in the pictures. However it is technically the woody wood duck whistle as titled. The picture is of the woody wood duck CALL. It is a little high pitched and cheaply made but and still could be useful call to have. The rubber tube allows for easy back pressure.
