Different plastic caps on the sides than usual or shown in photos. Mine is white and the ends pop out very easily making the whole spool a nightmare. Previous purchases the ends never came off.

If you ever worked in the live event production industry, you're very familiar with this stuff. I bought this spool for whenever I need some line for something up at home. It's good stuff, just like what you use in the theatres. This is unglazed which gives it a matte cottony feel, the glazed lines may hold a knot better but I prefer the clean feeling of unglazed and just tie good knots ;-)

I bought this for face mask ties. It is perfect. Nice size, good quality and a huge spool. I'll be set for years. And who can't use this cord for many other things.

Excellent tie line. Black synthetic core with braided, plain cotton exterior (see photo). Cotton is not waxed or polished - dull black finish. Am using as steering line for flown PA, and as tie line for rolling up and storing cables... General theater use. Because it has a synthetic core, the Ends can be held to a flame to prevent fraying - see photo where I rolled out the heated end between wet fingertips to make a nice non-frayed end for tieing up XLR cables

I’m a technical director for a theater and I use this as Tieline on lightweight drops and curtains. Works beautifully, doesn’t tangle, great price for a reliable product.
