This was purchased as a gift for a client who purchased a home. The home had its original front door with this same doorknocker but with the original family name engraved. If the old one was removed, it would show the outline of the knocker as the door has faded over the years. This new one should fit perfectly in its place, will have the new owner's name engraved on it, and no evidence of the old knocker will be noticed.

It is not an exact fit to the name brand, but will work in a pinch with a little work. Off by just a few millimeters, but looks great on the door. Worth the price over the name brand model.

The product was well made and very nice looking, however the screws were slightly too short going through the door and we couldn’t get them to screw into the door knocker. Now we have a hole in our door. Next one we buy, we will be looking for one with a nylon screw that you can cut to the correct length.

Needed to replace old door knocker. Old one had 5.25 inches between the mounting screws. I bought one from Amazon that was stated to be 5.25 but it was smaller and did not fit. I found this one searching Amazon and it is perfect.
