I was disappointed in that it said padded. It is has a bit of leather on the fingers but the thumb which I get hit a lot has no padding on it.

This glove is perfect for pickleball! The padded knuckles really help when you block a fast drive and get hit with the ball in the hand. Also helps absorb sweat so the grip isn’t slippery.

I am a loyal Python user but I am very disappointed in this particular glove as it tore in 10 minutes between my index finger and middle finger.I played 4 games and then it tore between my pinky and ring finger a total breakdown I guess. I have many python gloves as I like to switch them out between games but this was very disappointing. I hope Python has not changed their quality to save a few pennies as I still use gloves from Python that are over 2 years old.Total waste of money.

I use these for pickleball as I tend to dive for the ball frequently. The pythons are better than the other brands I use in terms of finger protection and I tried this deluxe model for the first time. All of the surfaces that normally wear through quickly are well padded and although these cost more, I suspect they will outlast the cheaper regular model 3-1 and the other brands probably 10-1. I would sometimes go through the Heads I used to buy in one day.

i needed a padded glove , there has not been one i haven't ripped this one held up way better than the rest i have used . you can bet i will by them agian
