I applied these to wooden eggs. I stained the wood exposed after shrinking the sleeves on the eggs with a heat gun I had for embossing.

I slow boiled and cooled the eggs over night in the refrigerator. Boiled water as instructed the following day. Slipped on the decorative sleeves (centered) on 18 eggs. Put a bowl of cold water along side and lined the counter top with paper towels. With a large slotted spoon dipped the egg in for 5 seconds and like magic it looked like the most perfect porcelain egg! Dipped it in cold water for a couple seconds, drying each egg off,. I was finished and cleaned up in 20 minutes from start to finish with the most beautiful dish of eggs. Everyone at our Easter celebration was shocked. I will never dye eggs again, no newspaper cups, dyes, stains, no finger or clothing stains and 3 to 4 hours of my life back! Kids enjoy watching the shrink wrap. This is fun for them too! Just wonderful product. Highly recommend.

This is the easiest and by far cleanest way to do Easter eggs, even with little kids. Simply put the eggs in the sleeves and lower them into boiling water for a few seconds. There's no mess. A seven year old did it with a little help near the stove. If you want to dye the eggs before or after with traditional dye you can do that too. This is a parents dream.
